last one I got easily to rank 10 and maxed at rank 7 just playing priest (C'Thun and N'Zoth/C'Thun decks).
This one I've tried Tempo Rogue, Midrange N'Zoth Hunter and those 2 C'Thun decks and while I can get to 14, then I get back to 15, and I keep bouncing like that. What did you play to get out of 15-14?

Nah, it's Tempo Warrior with a tribal.
Alex's champion is a great coin answer on turn 1, Faerie Dragon is fucking annoying in its self, and it has great drops like Crusher if you want to close out a game and then Guardians are a pain to get through.
It's a very greedy deck though and if it doesn't work out you have to pay the price of playing cards without their tribal effect which is pretty shitty.

As I said, the chance of losing good card is just as high as losing bad cards, on average, tracking does not alter the curve of your remaining deck. All it does is let you cycle and chose from three possible draw options.
Imagine it like this. Your deck is 2/3 bad cards and 1/3 good cards. Tracking will then on average offer your two bad and one good card. the makeup of your deck doesn't change and the ratio stays the same, all it did was let your dictate from which part of your deck your draw your card.

just play a lot too in ladder, you gotta "learn" what are the popular decks and what they run, and also do "smart" stuff to check and deduce what type of deck you are playing against:
for example, against a class that has many different decks at the moment, you might want to play King Elekk (even coin him out if it doesn't hurt your curve) to know what you are up against. Or any discover card for that matter.
once you know that, for example, you are up against Control N'Zoth Paladin, you gotta know and test for the combos he might have in hand, for example Equality + Wild Pyro or Forbidden Healing and play around that. Same goes against Hunter and Traps (Do I use my high value C'Thun or wait a turn and check with another minion?), Entomb (It's turn 6+ and my opponent hasn't played Entomb, maybe I should keep Sylvannas in hand), Doomhammer/Gorehowl (do I curve out my Acidic Swamp Ooze/Harrison, or wait for the weapon?).
You also gotta know and remember when the opponent will run out of steam. For example, against Midrange Hunter, if he has played 2 Call of the Wild and 2 Savanna Highmane, chances are you won the game at that point. Same goes for Shaman the moment he played his 2 7/7, 2 Rockbitters and Doomhammer.
This will seems obvious, but so many people make mistakes like this in ranks lower than 10 or even 5. Knowing this will help you to know when to feel safe and how to not overextend.

Yogg is the worst card to complain about rng. It is good for the caster, if used in the right spot. It is most of the time DOOM with a little bit additional randomness. But never have i seen a Yogg that was ultra bad, besides those that kills the caster(most of the time he would be dead without Yogg anyways) and for the opponent it often means just a board reset, like flame strike would.

The results are indeed without skill involved, but its a very competetive viable card. The card is not a coin flip, it increases the win rate of spell heavy decks.
Basically the positive outcomes outweight the negative outcomes.
Aggro decks can play around the card by closing out the game before turn 10.
Control decks can play around the card by generating more value and stronger turns after Yogg.
MidRange decks lose hard to this card, but thats probably ok, after all its a 10 mana card that should have some impact.
Overall i feel like the card is pretty predictable in its outcome and not at all random in its results.

I love blue as a color and I agree that it's usually pretty much this.
A lot of decks that run blue will have counterspells of some form, be they the straight Cancels that prop up in Standard or the ever so illustrious Force of Will that blue in eternal formats essentially need (outside of EDH). If you aren't running blue yourself I can tell you right now you're going to have a dandy bad time. Good luck trying to play your cards when the opponent is sitting on several forms of counterspell and a nice amount of open mana to fuck you over with. Priest feels almost the same way, but thanks to Hearthstone's design they can still outright lose anyways.
It's going to suck when Priests get some actually good defensive options and end up being top-tier.

I play maybe 5 hours a week. Playing arena on weekends is fun. Quests are easy to do. Trying crazy rng decks is fun. I can play the game while doing other stuff. I never went above rank 10 though.

Zoo got 2 cards that make the deck infinitely better.
5 hp 3 mana drop is pretty tanky. But then next turn it can go all up to being a 5/5. Forbidden Ritual fills up the board, buffs Trump and can make Knife Juggler deal up to 6 damage. Great synergy with PO, Defender of Argus and Sea Giant. And lets not even talk about the aggro shit that Shaman got.
There is no control cards in the expansion that can compare to the good aggro cards. And even if there is, it's in a class that lost quite a bit with GvG and Naxx gone.

Hearthstone has good control decks, the problem is that you play MTG exclusively in tournament format or friendly matches. Hearthstone is mostly played in ladder format where playing control is just plain inefficient compared to aggro.
Ranked ladder is Hearthstone's biggest problem. They need to implement some sort of tournament mode. Just make it like arena, but with constructed decks.

I was just equivocating because despite him/you having a point about those decks being so strong at the time. It doesn't mean that the meta was decent.
As far as I experienced, Patron was the only deck that really gave me trouble to the point I insta-conceded to them if I didn't get a good opening hand. Face Hunters and Handlocks were always there, even before that expansion. The way to deal with them was the same as before it.
What's the best class for C'Thun? Druid? I don't have Fandral, Harrison or Justicar, only Sylvanas, Rag Lightlord and LoE stuff.
