The only thing that matter is a relatively low sens, your sens is fucking high as shit.
400 dpi is all you ever need, higher is technically better but irrelevant. If its good enough for Quake Gods it's good enough for you. If you want lower sens while sniping you can change it in widowmakers settings.

Thats a bull. While 8000 DPI is indeed overkill for gaming, up to 4k is ok depending on your prefferences. There is no downsides - you can do everything you can do on lower settings, with smaller amount of movement and higher precision - high refresh rate makes it even better.
I played UT/Quake before, and there high DPI (or high sensisitivy while high DPI mouses were not a thing yet) were a must.
You can fucking do three headshots on enemies on different side of screen in time you slide the mouse on low dpi.

Gibraltr, last point, on attack. Enemy is mainly clustered around the payload in the main area where the payload is, at the corner, but there's a roaming McCree and Mei each watching out for flankers and occasionally popping out to high noon. Enemy team has a high skill Widowmaker. Their Widow is on the bridge in the doorway, with a clear view of the battlefield and the oncoming attack team.
How do you counter her? Bear in mind she can hear your footsteps from 15m away and you have to evade the entire enemy team which has locked down the flanks. And that she gets consistent headshots and will grapple hook away to her team while shooting her with her assault rifle which does almost as much DPS as the soldier 76 one with a faster reload.

Lucio speedboosts everyone behind reinhardt to the payload while McCree guards the left flank from Mei, then Zarya pops ultimate on rein-bastion-mercy while lucio and genji ult and kill them WHILE winston jumps up to Widowmaker to harass her and prevent her from interfering with the rest of your team. Enemy McCree might be a problem but hopefully everything would go well.
But yeah fighting against that without team coordination in a pub is impossible.
Daily reminder that McCree is the lowest skill character in the game. If you main him it shows how bad you are at FPS.

Assuming you aren't coordinating with your team at all, you just approach from where Mei is with anyone with vertical mobility.

And? What the fuck is she going to do about it? You go over the top there onto the bridge where Widowmaker is perched, with someone like Winston or Genji, she has to grapple away, like you said. Now, even without any coordination, the Widow is down on the ground and her team is probably look up at the bridge at you. Just pester and distract, getting some damage in while your teammates go around the back.
If you're playing with shitters, maybe they won't be able to kill the Mei, but most people would just run over her position there. And roll the numbers advantage out through that little room since Widow doesn't have sightlines into it, and you can peek the Bastion with just about anything.

Well since you're talking about a shitter game where apparently 6 people can't roll one Mei defending an entire half of the map by herself, I doubt she's going to kill you in the time you jump over the wall and it's a good thing the characters you'd be using to get up and over there anyway, Winston, D.va, or Genji, have ways to mitigate damage and close the gap.
And chasing down the Widow, even just just as far as pushing her off the bridge up there back into her team, means you are still drawing fire away from the direction your teammates, since you will have 5 of them and even the most retarded of teammates still walk toward the objective in some manner, helping to bust up a nest. Across the bridge is a close space where Bastion doesn't have sight into and there is a health kit for you to grab. If you're playing someone like Genji, you can even peek the Bastion through the door back there. Worst case scenario, you pull the McCree from his perch and Mei IMMEDIATELY starts running through the under room to catch up to you as you went over and you get caught in the medkit room with Mei and McCree on your ass. Again, you have 5 other teammates who should be doing anything even if you have absolutely zero coordination.
But, you know, it's pugs and maybe they all are incapable of performing even basic aiming and just run into Bastion over and over again. It's not a foolproof plan, but it's not some uncrackable iron defense that the poster made it out to be with his stupid ass map.

Personally, and this is just from in game dialogue, Pharra and her mother didn't have the greatest relationship.
