I refuse to believe Nuka World is the last DLC.

Far Harbor felt tiny even on survival mode and I can't imagine Nuka World being much bigger. I was all excited for getting at least 3 big DLCs but if they're really stopping at 2 then I'm going to be severely disappointed. Even fucking Skyrim had 2 big expansion packs and 1 small one and that felt bigger and beefier than what we've gotten for F4 so far.

I hate how Bethesda is focusing too much on settlement mode, because they've been able to make a lot of prime DLC back in the day (Shivering Isles, Point Lookout, etc). Now it seems they only see Fallout as a post-apocalytic farming simulator based solely on the fact that we're getting 3 wasteland workshops and only 2 actual story DLCs. Like, seriously? It's kind of cool that we can do all this shit, but I'd rather get rid of it all if it meant giving us more areas to explore and more quests to do.

If we do get more DLC after Nuka World, then I'm obviously going to relax, but if it really is the last DLC then it'd better be really damn good.

Of course we don't know anything about the theme park but from what we do know it may just be The Pitt 2.0

Which isn't that terrible but it seems a low note to end everything on, unless it's REALLY impressive somehow, in terms of landmass size and content.

I get the feeling Beth didn't want to do anything space-oriented again after Mothership Zeta anyway.

It just sounds like a gimicky exploration zone. I'm sure it'll at least be fun, but I don't expect a story to get even mildly interested in. And now I wonder how the full trailer for Nuka World will be like, and how it will compare in tone to Far Harbor's trailer.

Of course its not. It's incredibly naive to think otherwise. Fallout 4 DLC is basically free money for Bethsoft. The first 'round' of DLC was generally praised (outside of our little echo chamber). Nuka World has probably been in the pipes since before the game was released and the season pass price hike revealed.

Alright, can't really decide how the exteriror should look. On the one hand, the vault pieces with their external shells look nice and suitably high tech, but they are kinda clean for a ship that's been aimlessly sailing the ocean for 200+ years. Guess the cleaning bots are that good.

The only issue is that it looks rather sterile on the inside since the tile pieces I'm using are bare metal walls.

Not that I know, but if you hover the pointer over a flag it usually tells you what they do. For reducing glossiness, finding the option in LightingShaderProperty and give it a lower number. At least that's how it was for Skyrim, I don't know if they changed it for FO.

I know making things a lot less set in stone in terms of plot resolution is a tactic for player freedom and engagement, but I think they went a bit far, and getting another big DLC that delivered on many of the features originally envisioned or hinted at would be great.

In what way are they not glorified mods? The WW mods are basically just a pile of assets added to the construction menu. It's been done a bunch of times. Homemaker, SSEX, Snap and Build, That underground one. It's hardly what we've come to expect from Fallout DLC. Sure it's nice to have 'official' assets, but I'd have much rather had more world spaces, fleshed out quests and characters.

Nuka World is almost $30 AUD

I'm happy the next wave of content is virtually free for me. I would have paid $30 for FH and automatron by themselves. Slightly disappointed in the total amount of quest expansion planned though.

This disappointment is not because I feel ripped off. I just expected more story or quest stuff, given Beth's history with DLC.
