The biggest problem with that is the fact that patrolling ships and lack of naval superiority doesn't seem to stop them at all. I send my navy to patrol the sea zone they are invading from, they just keep invading. Days after days, weeks after weeks and my navy doesn't care - Whoops looks like you're getting invaded my friend.
Need to specifically set my ships to convoy raiding to stop it. I mean come on, my fleet has like 120 ships patrolling in 3 fleets. I think a naval invasion in area with radar coverage near my coast isn't that hard to find and stop the fuckers.

Patrol will probably stop them, but the chance of them finding the enemy convoy seems to be minuscule even tho they are literally invading my shit. I mean come on, radio was invented by that time. Think the fucking garrisons could radio in that "hey we are being invaded by some enemy forces can you take care of this?" I think that it's also fucked up how areas with ground radar coverage seem, to be completely dark to your naval forces.

go to /Hearts of Iron 4/music and open the music.assets file. You cannot add new music in addition, unfortunately i believe you have to replace the files. To change what song plays, change the file part of the text to the filename of the song. Drop the music you want to put in in the /music folder as a .ogg. You cannot have any spaces in the filename or it will crash.

I thought playing as Ethiopia was going to be harder but as it turns out if you withdraw all your armies to the capitol Italy's army just kind of leaves.
They were attacking me with 15ish divisions and then as soon as they took everything other than the capitol they all left except for 2, against which my 10ish divisions could defend indefinitely. And since all of Ethiopia counts as 1 state I've lost nothing to their occupation except 1 airbase which doesn't matter because I have no planes.

(more than USA's estimated max 207)

Okay lads I've been playing around with the doctrines and trying to balance them and this is what I have done so far;
Mobile warfare doctrine gives high organization and speed, mobile infantry gives speed and organization bonuses to inf/mec/mot and blitzkried gives speed and organization bonuses to tanks. Later desperate defense gives you more organization for infantry and more recruitable population, modern blirzkried gives organization bonuses to arm/mot and mec.
Humanwave doctrine gives high morale for infantry and less supply consumption. Deep battle gives more morale and organization for inf/mot/mec/arm meanwhile mass mobilazation gives you more recruitable population and more infantry morale.
But here's the problem I don't have the slightest clue about superior fire power (frankly I can just leave it as it is it's pretty powerful) and grand battleplan.
