Having any poise at all, even 0.1, causes a few attacks to gain hyper armor. The vast majority of R2 and even L2 attacks are not affected by this, and it doesn't matter how much poise you have as long as it's not absolutely 0.
Heavey armor and poise are still 99% worthless. As long as you're not naked, it doesn't matter aside from absorption.

How the fuck do you deal with people who roll spam and then chug an estus? You can't hit them fast enough to stop the heal, the roll immunity is absurd, and when you DO get a backstab animation it does fuck all to them except give them more space between you and them.
All I can do is switch to a fast weapon and try hard as fuck to slip a few hits in and get lucky.

I let them start their chug, then hit them with the AGS WA. The get up slowly after that which gives you plenty of time to hit them with a Lloyd's to stop future heal attempts. Most will try to heal again immediately anyway, and you can just finish them off right there.

stop what? an estoc? theres no stopping this thing, just last saturday i was leveling an assassin when i got invaded a few times and after i realized that anris not gonna stop these twinks i just pulled out the so-claimed-op estoc. needless to say i havent lost even one invsion with that character, and i even decided to try this shit out when i passed pontiff the same day.
out of the very many duels i did there for testing this trash of a weapon i lost very few, dont remember exactly what beat me but it def requires the understanding of how the estoc works and what goes through estoc users' minds.
now i use it to finish escaping enemies although i guess you can do it with sages rapier since its the same kind of bullshit.

Str/Int, Moonlight Greatsword as his main weapon because it sounds the coolest to a deviantart furry, and he's gotta have the crown of dusk (cat ears), Morne's Helm (Fursuit), or dragon head (next level/scalie). Also always have Repair attuned, and greet foes as a literal sparkledog with the spell.
