He leaves you with the Phantom Pain.

the stealth mechanic is fine, my first playthrough was basically octopus every mission, you are just the worst player i have ever seen, and how long are to taking each mission for someone to wake up from being Ko'd? 5 minutes is long enough and you deserve to be punished for still having to do the mission for that long with a sleeping guy waking up.
and the non-lethal guns are fine, for fucks sake build your own custom guns, they are overpowered as shit.Just uninstall the game

It's honestly a clever way to keep you coming back to the game every now and then.
They're not releasing daily missions or objectives, but the development times and rewards keep giving you incentive to play the game in little chunks, giving you that little metal gear fix every now and then.

IMO Reunion could have been for a couple of reasons:
- Players complaining too much
- Removing a dependable or preferred game mid-game can be argued as unfair or a test of skill from that point on
- Making the player feel "Phantom Pain"
I believe that if Reunion was in the game from the start, it would have more purpose, but it came in a patch and the surprise was ruined by data miners.
