Arc scales weil with Tonitrus' bolt mode. It doesn't do much for Amy Arm though. As for the build, looks good but I'd put some points from skill into arc since the scaling in both is average but you get more damage from hunter tools and whatever else.

When you buff it, it effectively has 136 base Bolt damage and a 0.9 Arcane scaling with a flat +20 bolt. That means that it has:

33 is fine, most folks go in around 25-45. Paarl is a really good intro to learning proper dodging. Focus on just dealing damage to his limbs by dodging under him when he swipes. You should have a solid 2-3 hits before needing to gtfo. Eventually he is gonna collapse and that is when you break out the charged R2s.
Note how he loses his electric charge, you're gonna abuse the fuck out of that because he is super vulnerable when he tried to get away and recharge. If you're good you can stunlock him into the same shit until he dies.

Level up your weapon more so than yourself. Stay below him but don't get greedy. Attack his legs once - twice and then be ready to dodge his AoE if he uses it. If he moves away immediately run beneath him again. Also if possible try to run away from the AoE instead of rolling, and also try to run behind him to dodge the AoE so you can return to his back legs quickly.

Transformed cane on paarl is awesome, its serrated and can hit multiple limbs. Cane in general is hugely underrated, its amazing at zoning, fast as fuck, and extremely versatile with TWO different damage types. Against Paarl though stay transformed.

Darkbeast Paarl is one of my favorite designs in the Soulsborne series. His fight was really cool too, playing at 2 in the morning with all the flashing lights was fucking cool. I just beat him last night, please tell me there are other bosses like this, because besides Vicar Amelia, Father G, and him, the bosses have been kind of underwhelming. Bloodstarved beast and Cleric Beast were good though, just not incredible.
