We've got Box as standard, Meta as essentially Box with a different layout, and Deff for the giant maint gimmick.

If you can't beat them in skill, you gotta beat them through preparation. It's been a long time since I've last played on tg but I remember all the powergamers would keep a bottle of booze and a lighter in their bag, because if you harm intented someone with the bottle, it would break on them, covering them with alcohol and knocking them down, then you could lighter them to light them on fire. Their options from there are to roll to extinguish, which allows you to shank them with your now broken bottle, try to fight while on fire, which will usually end with them dead (though depending on what they're armed with they could take you out as well), or run. It's been long enough that this was probably nerfed but maybe not.

Detectives already have medical scanners built into their PDAs. If you scan a corpse with it, it gives you time of death
No one ever does autopsies but it doing one gives you a clear idea of how to pin a murderer's weapon on them.
Not needing to go to your office to correlate data is a bad thing. Sometimes you need the time away to make a convinving argument, in a safe place and using the time it takes to make all the scans - you're there to prove that things happened that would go unnoticed or be doubted otherwise, not just scream 'THIS HAPPENED MUH VALIDS' when you scan a finger print.
The office and the machines that the detective have work just fine as they are. The server just needs higher quality detectives who don't just play it for the mcree gimmick.
