I played a few games with a friend's friend who MAINS Mercy (he has about 20 hours with her and her only) and he is such an insufferable cunt. He complains nonstop about every team. I'd say 1 in 5 games, I go gold for eliminations as Lucio. I've got a lot of games where people pick Tracer or Genji and never flank, so I end up doing it for them to secure objective or disrupt their healing, etc. At least Lucio lets me still have fun though. So what are the chances that we'll get a singleplayer campaign for Overwatch next year or the year after?
Because as cool as the multiplayer seems to be based on the videos I've seen, it doesn't feel complete without a singleplayer.
It doesn't even have to be much.

With Pharah it's especially difficult because the moment I take off I get shot down by a Widowmaker or suddenly everyone on the map starts shooting at me and chipping my health down like crazy.
Not to mention that Soldier can pretty much fuck my life up with minimal effort.

If something is played very often but is UP, it won't get changed, because it's still being played.
If something is OP & rarely gets played, again it's less likely to get attention. That's usually a scenario when something will get a full rework because if you nerf it further people are even less likely to play it.
A lot of the times things will be changed just slightly just so people are reminded it exists.

Viscerality is definitely something I will agree they dropped the ball with her on. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but I personally like it. By viscerality I mean how satisfying she is to play. Most ultimates not only are strong but also FEEL strong. Symmetras ultimate doesn't have the same "oomph" as most others. Bastion does have damage falloff. Bastion does not need nerfs anyway, he needs buffs if anything. McCree does not need his flashbang changed, the stun duration isn't even long, it's like .7 seconds or something. Mei is a worse McCree and also needs buffs and/or a reason to be played. Revive should be up less frequently. 76 sacrifices movement to heal, it's fine.

She's like D.Va and Roadhog, she's not really a tradition 'tank' like Reinhardt and Winston. I think she's a lot more like Roadhog in the sense she is just a tanky damage dealer that has some sort of gimmick they rely on instead of overall good damage like the offense heroes. To me tanks negate damage for their team and pressure objectives as their main goal. Roadhog mainly assassinates, D.Va flanks and Zarya parry charges herself with her shield then goes rambo. The class role titles are dumb and a lot of characters don't belong in the catagories they are listed under, it's sad when a Reinhardt switches roles because someone else picked Zarya or Roadhog and don't want 'too many tanks'.

The very best players know when they are over extended and retreat and also concede objective A on maps like volkaya instead of going in 1 at a time too your own inevitable demise because you hold the belief you can win a 1v5.
We also hold our ultimates for team wipes instead of kills on those maps.
All the pro's are banning those maps in favor of the payload ones because attackers are at such a high advantage the game becomes a forgone conclusion.
Majority of these generals are full of "defense is bullshit op on Anubis they're too close too the point/symmetra on Anubis is dumb" rage posts.
