So I finally got to test out borging a ling as a confirmation test and a way to get more information that round. Aside from a scare from an ahelp which may or may not have landed me a note, it seems like a pretty damn good way to dispose of a ling. They stay in the round, you get to know for sure if you did the right thing and have a chance to de-borg them if they weren't a ling, and you get information on who the other changelings are/might be as well as where all of the changelings kills are.
Remind me why we don't do this to changelings more often?

Don't even need to be unique items, for example, you could have a Station Engineer uplink that starts with 4 TCs. Available items would be everyday convenient stuff like matter cartridges at 1TC a pop, metal foam grenades at 2TC as an emergency, or you could blow all your TCs to get NVGs roundstart. Or a sec officer blows his TCs to get a shoulder holster.
Could be a fun way to have more variety and more options for the average crewmember!
