You can do uber atziri with traps, its just a tiny bit slower you know(aka maybe atziri will survive a few seconds as opposed to near instant transitions).
hardly an issue.
Only problem with trappers is that they NEED to be saboteur (for that one trap proc ->every single trap activates talent).
Miners can go occultist which is a lot better for ES builds + better talents as a miner.

I was thinking about doing two characters, one is a bladefall mines occultist and the other is a bino's reave assassin.
They can share their binos and heretic's veil. The occultist could do no-leech, phys reflect and tough bosses while the assassin could do curse immune (with cospri's) and easy clearspeed maps.
That way I don't have to reroll out of any map mod.

15h of dried lake isn't even that bad. You are forced to grind an area that you'd usually grind anyway. Xp/h is good, the place is safe, currency drop is at least decent, and you can pretty much just chill and watch some series/movies or listen to some podcasts meanwhile. The challenge is comfy desu.
You'll likely get a few brittle emperors too, which is good money. I might just go and do it first thing in the league, before doing any maps.

Twinned Daresso with 6man hp? I'm not sure about that. Oh well, you still have to run 4 rotations then, so 5man parties are enough. That's 4ex in a normal league, but the map will surely be more expensive now, so you can expect a 5-6ex price for that alone.
Atziri is doable yeah, the income should at least cover the entry fee, probably more.

Consider how Trickster is good for CoC Cyclone
Now consider you can apply this to every skill, and you can now run no regen and your ES is an effective EHP modifier with MoM
0-mana is amazing, and elreon rings can get pretty amazing especially they can get t1 life which is all that matters

Hierophant has 15% to gain power charge on killing an enemy. Assasination's mark has (21-30%) to gain power charge. vs 10% gain power charge on knockback an enemy.
The first alternative is 36%-45% to gain on killing, meaning you gonna need an AoE/Strong skill like EQ.
Second, 10% gain pc on knock what means you will need to use Lion's roar or Critical to knockback from tree, also to hit a critical as melee the probability to get a critical is reduced because internal mechanics from evasion, meaning again you will struggle with 40% reduce critical mods and enfeeble(reduce accuracy). So Sunder is better, cause the aoe can't evade.

Except there was an incentive to D2 boss farming as they dropped good loot, and sets and uniques there were useful, to an extent.
In PoE, you kill a boss and it drops 10 alt shards, 5 alch shards and wow an unique! too bad 99.5% of uniques are vendor trash so it's just another 5 alt shards.

they have a chance to roll a corrupted implicit, they can change the sockets to color white, which means you can socket gems of any color, or it can reroll into a random corrupted rare (which basically fucks up your items)
a corrupted item can't be further modified so in general it's a big gamble that often doesn't end well

Temp leagues are a better experience cause it's a fresh start for everyone which means fresh economy and some new features. Your shit isn't worth anything in standard but it can be worth something in a temp league.
If you're going for a build to start from 0 in a new league, try earthquake. Use cleave till level 12 and then sunder with another skill for single target (like molten strike) until you grab earthquake + less duration from a3 (level 28~30).

Everyone has been right so far, if you're interested in building a Trading base and making money is the only reason to ever not play a league, but for someone so late to starting, Leagues are gonna be better for you to build wealth in, becasue you simply can't compete with those who've been around since CB and still spend time only in Standard. Vaaling is a relatively risky thing people do, for SC I'd argue it's probably the riskiest thing you can do, considering you can't even lose your chars. There's very low % of hitting really relaly good implicits, otherwise it's mostly useless. The "safest" vaals are on 20/20 skill gems, because you only have a 25% chance of bricking. Please move onto Prophecy, being a standard player isn't something I would ever ever recommend anyone. It's gonna be your first league, so you'll probably want to play Softcore. Check your /deaths on teh char you linked, even on a super underleveld non meta SC char, you shouldn't have more than 3 deaths coming out of Normal. Cast on Death is a joke gem, you can feasibly use it with Portal as a sort of checkpoint shenangans item, but you are gonna to tp directly to whatever caused your death. Same thing with fishing, it's just meta jokes for people that have been around the community. Personally in terms of fun I think Ranged>Melee>Caster>Summoner, but that's just my opinion. For a beginning of league melee, I recommend either earthquake, cyclone, or sunder. anything you can use Resolute Technique and a 2hander with. Good luck homie.

42 for SC isn't very overleveled. I'd be at 40 most likely, I farm Dried lake to 40 then steamroll thru the rest of the act, but I really dislike A4, so I like to do it in the minimal amount of time possible, which is why I level so high in DL. The only 1 shots I can think of in A4 are Voll in Dried Lake and Malachai, they both have the same slam that does abotu a Billion damage. You're probably dieing because there's no chance you ahve the correct defenses, on top of sub 1k hp and your damage is horrible. Leveling with bows is worse than pulling teeth. To level with a bow you need -mana elreon jewlery and the unique bows, so that you can run Herald of Thunder, Herald of Ash, and wrath and have 0 mana cost attacks, otherwise bows are just too poor for leveling. ON a low hp char you should have at or above 2k health at 40 leaving Normal, 1.5k at the worst. I tend to be >1.5k but <2k because I use normal difficulty to build the framework of my tree and take easy damage, because mechanically i'm good enough to dodge most shit.

That's the real bitch of following a guide, you dont' get to realise when your shit should be taken. You never want to grab crit from the tree until about level 65 because you won't have endgame items with endgame CC. And you have shitawful pDps, so your mana leech node is wasted, because there's no way you have the leech to compensate yet. You shouldn't double dip backfor those two points by finesse. Because if you aren't really pushing accuracy from gear, you gonna miss for mods like enfeeble, monsters with evasions etc.
For example using marohi(Best cheap endgame viable mace) will take -100 accuracy rating, also you get enfeeble and probably blinded and you're using EQ building only %life and physical damage.
EQ has 2 instances first hit(the shittiest dmg) and the second wave, both can miss. the second wave is the most strong because muh more damage so if you miss it will reduce your dps,survivance(leech mana and life), with RT you don't have to worry about that shit.

Not him, but in Dota 2, the game is literally configured to have the match come down to a coin flip. Before, you were able to easily carry your retarded team because even if they fed a lot, you could still farm and get a sizeable advantage, as long as you didn't die yourself.
Then 6.84 came around, and now any team that gets ahead is penalized with team net worth calculations for hero kill gold and exp. Now, even if you get ahead, your retards will just feed away the advantage, forcing you to play far more games than needed to reach a decent MMR.
Anyone that was complaining about DotA 2's forced 50 before 6.84 was most likely trash.
