It was pretty interesting, being my first Mu win and my first Gozag win. Potion petition really helped out in some tight situations and Bribe is goddamn broken-tier.
Honestly the shops probably made the least impact of all, although still nice.

They'd actually have to address killholing as a strategy, which is problematic because of how crawl reallly works. They'd probably have to throw less enemies at you, more dangerous enemies that don't kill you just by being in LoS (IE no damnation or torment since the only way to mitigate it IS with LoS shenanigans that digging facilitates) rather than mobs of easy fodder and rework formicids altogther. Its a slapshod solution to a large problem, although I think a better solution is just to give elementalists, sorcerers, and annihilators a ray of digging or LRD. Perhaps the destructive ray that eyes have. That fuckboy who was talking about removing wands of digging was an idiot because he thought it influences the ascent, when the real problem is that it does very REAL work at killing most of the dungeon and makes a fool out of pandemonium. They'd actually have to come up with a new postend that doesn't rely on the crutch that is enemies that kill or ruin you just by being in LoS, and maybe a postend that isn't completely reliant on haste.

Killholes are actually pretty shit in most of the hells. Completely useless in Dis for example. There are some amount of pans with crystal/stone walls (like disco pan!), but I think just throwing more undiggable walls is just the same as the elementalists. If they truly want to address it, they need to make it less viable rather than making it harder to accomplish.

This is the deepest I've ever got with a magical char.

What should I skill now? I've got so many books, I can learn most of the spells of te game, except necromutation and some traslocation ones like passage and Cblink. Should I still bother with fighting?

Also I've got a brand weapon scroll, should I use it on my +9 demon trident of venom? It has done wonders so far, and I also have ignite poison so I wasn't sure if changing it would have been a good idea.

Your character is looking really good. That should be enough fighting for quite a while since you have a massive HP pool. You also have a really great spell set for dealing with most of the threats in the dungeon. If you can, post dump with books in your inventory so we can see what spells you can potentially learn and advise about defenses and other stuff. Otheriwse, you're looking pretty rock solid.

I wish the Infra Arcana wiki/boards weren't deleted. The new website where the DL is hosted has zero information on the game, and the readme/Tome doesn't explain a lot of weird shit or specific interactions (like if it's possible to unload firearms in your inventory, or if you have to drop them on the ground every time you want to unload them)

Game is fun as fuck elsewise though.

If you really do have ALL the spells, learn haste/regen/Dmissile and a cloud spell like freezing cloud or Pcloud. Forget magic dart and searing ray, possibly shroud if you aren't attentive in using it.

You should very certainly pickup a buckler if you're going to stick with the dtrident. How much EV do you have? How many pips of steatlh? I think its 5 for bucklers, very small investment for large returns at this point.

Bucklers are 100% worth it. The only reason not to is to 2-hand. But if you are a master caster, you probably don't want to 2-hand.

Haste is definitely fine at like 10%, although ideally you'll want it at 1% if you can. DMissile is much harder to break, and does a better job of deflecting shit. Obviously, it IS based on your EV so if your EV is shit, invest it further. Dmissile is fine at like 30%. Get regen to a decent spellpower, it really does make the difference in a drawn out battle. Low spellpower regen is like getting a free curing, high spellpower is like getting a free HW. A little necromancy goes a long way.

always_small and ironman_small not working on levels flagged as BIG was an intentional part of the code.
mpa scrapped the line which prevented this because it was stupid.
