Interrupting the DS3 storm to ask DS1 advice. Should I run Version 1 of this Ciaran cosplay build or Version 2?
Version 2 has more HP and stamina with FaP ring, but Version 1 has that delicious DWGR for some assassin/ninja flipping. Which would you choose?
I included the parry dagger because it's easier to parry than backstab in PvP, while the power within is for bosses or havel-flippers/etc.
I've put 100 hours into the game and have only just found out that the elemental effects when you hit enemies are really cool.
I was using a longsword and black pharis bow the entire time, briefly switching to the sunlight sword at the end, because straight swords shit on PvE so hard it isn't funny. I only found this out by accident because I had the crystal sage rapier in my offhand while farming and I accidentally attacked with it.
The blue fire looked sweet. I should probably try more weapons.

I quite like Drakeblood Armor with Lothric Shield and Sword, kind of ornamental but pretty badas looking.
For default Knight though, I really enjoy Kite Shield from Herald set and the Claymore.
Also for Fallen Knight, Claymore goes perfectly with it and the regular Knight Shield has a color Scheme pretty close to the armor as well.

Some famous European faggot said back in the middle ages that the three weapons a knight absolutely must master are the sword, the lance and the polaxe, with the longbow later being added when horse archery became a big deal after the Crusades.
The lance is shit and there are no horses so toss that. The swords they used back then were actually greatswords by Souls definition so you've got that. The lucerne is obviously a polaxe so good job on that too. The estoc KIND of fills the role of a lance but it'd still probably get some eyes rolling if you don't find a beefier, anti-armour weapon.

Just go for ng+ then, those are all knight-approved weapons. Claymore makes you a very scottish knight though, not that knights really used greatswords at all, but I definitely understand the need of such a weapon. Also keep that astora ugs close, best looking one. I'm maining the profaned, it looks fantasy as fuck but it's just too good

crystal chime is shit for weapon buffs though, keep that in mind, but you could use carthus flame arc so it's ok
the chime's softcaps are 30/30 & 45/45
but pyro flame's softcaps are 35/35 (though this one doesn't do much) & 40/40
so you can kinda stop where you want, but going after 40/40 basically won't increase your pyromancy's damage
if you're mainly going to be using sorceries, you can go 45/45 tho, or just stop at 30/30

Hollow Infusions as Hollow yourself at +10 give you +5 luck. So if you want to save on stats, get a Hollow Main hand and Off hand so you only have to get 30 Luck.
Anri's Sword cannot be infused, but it's still a top tier weapon for luck. I'm on NG+++ and I'm still using it. It's OP as fuck.
That being said, the best PVE weapon in the game is Hollow Warden Twin Blades +10 with Carthus Rouge.

You could try to make due with lower FP and put those points somewhere else. Highest consuming pyro you got is the chaos orb but even at 18 ATT you can still use 4 of them and you could always attune to have more ashtus.
30 ATT is more for sorc spells since the crystal spells use up alot of FP but I'm actually gonna try to get by with 18 ATT
I don't know if you have this ring since ears are a pain but the darkmoon ring would let you keep all your slots at 18 ATT.
You could try these stats out. You could probably change the sage ring to something else if you want since pyros cast kinda quickly already. You hit your 40/40 pyro stats and can put the rest of the 19 into VIG or END

I'm guessing you just have the iron flesh and sacred flame there for the glitch. You could take both of those out Chaos Bed Vestiges unless you run into baddies often enough to get the sacred flame.
You'd be able to have pretty much the best pyros on you at all time. Whip, Chaos and Vestige.
But yeah you definitely needed to change some of those rings. You should always wear the 2 spell buff rings.
Last two are kind of a toss up but I'm thinking the darkmoon ring might be another must have for any magic user since it lets you put 12 points into other stuff like VIG which stops magic users from dying quickly.
