I think those who are against H/moe just haven't realized the duality of human nature, which is reasonable for those enraptured by literature. However, in truth, they go hand in hand, no matter how ridiculous it seems. Someone who spends hours fapping to huge-titted naked ladies in moege is no less enlightened than one who spends spends hours poring over the philosophical implications of X scene in Y novel.
Indeed, they are often the same person. Look no further than James Joyce writing erotic fart letters to his wife in between chapters of Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake. Sex and beauty coexist in the mind of a human, in the human experience. There is nothing contradictory about fapping and contemplating the divine. There is no need to consider yourself about sex. That's as silly as considering yourself above eating, or sleeping. It's a fundamental aspect of humanity, much as what's described in literature is.
In short, it can be tempting to belittle sex upon undergoing a profound experience while reading a VN. It can be tempting to consider it the outlet of a fool. But in truth, sex is important. It's a part of humanity. It peacefully coexists with beauty and profundity. You are no less a scholar for vigorously fapping to cowtits than you are for sleeping 8 hours a day and eating dead animal flesh. Fap on, bros.

You often can't block a boss' skills. To figure out if a banish skill will work check the skill's target skill level and the skill level of what you're trying to block. Energy Leak and Ice Banish 2 both target level five and below skills iirc so I don't think you're going to be able to do anything.
It might be a more efficient use of your time to focus on having a strong force and material attacker so you can always hit his weakness. Support can just be a healer or spare tank or something.

Well, it took 5 years, but finally there's something with a better OST than Umineko.
Some 5 hours of tracks across 4 discs and they're all fantastic. Giselle is my favourite though.

Plus the VN itself is one of the best I've read in a long time. There's a lot of superficial similarities it shares with Umineko, but the biggest difference is it's not shit like Umineko was.

I got really tired of Hoshimemo's shit pretty quickly despite liking the all of characters. I just couldn't buy into most of the melodrama. It just felt like a huge waste of my time, doubly so because that time wasted on the petty drama could have been spent doing actually enjoyable things with the characters. Conflict is important of course, but one of the biggest problems I felt with the VN is that it almost never felt organic or natural. Or relatable, for that matter (the only one I could relate to was Aoi's self imposed isolation)

Some of the H scenes literally felt tacked on. Like the writer just wanted to get them over with and didn't care about the pacing or context surrounding them. It was saved by the art and some of the good voice acting at least, but still.

That's one of the things I liked about PE. That had some stupid drama as well, but the relationship part was actually good. There was build up to the H and the relationships themselves that actually felt natural, or as natural as you can get in a vn anyway.

There's some really good doujin musicians in Japan. Umineko was doujin too. I've been listening to Fata Morgana's OST on loop pretty much all day while I've been doing school work.
