No, it's not. Plain narrative text is far easier, and plain dialogue (excluding puns) is too. Sex dialogue is actually hard to tl well because
- Tons of words for genitals that don't either dont exist in English or else sound dumb (meat spear for dick, meat room for womb).
- Sex SFX is beyond untranslatable so you have to tactically leave entire chunks of essentially nonsense in the middle of your text
- Maintaining the eroticism of the text in English is far harder than simply conveying the idea of a narrative line. Doubly so given that certain key words that appear all the time h scenes have no English equivalent so you're friggin constantly working around or plain leaving out. Imagine the equivalent of honorifics (senpai, kun, etc) playing a big role in h scenes. Most tlers just drop honorifics entirely. It's lile that, except if you drop these words than the eroticism of the text plummets.
- This is more subjective, but h scenes go on for fucking ever and are demoralizingly boring due to repetition. This makes nukige harder than other games (for me, anyway) because I just don't enjoy it. Additionally, you are TONS of comments everywhere, even here, of people saying they skip or skim h scenes. I'm spending hours in agony to tl scenes many people will just skip? What a pain!
Anyway, point being, nukige are no easier to tl than moege or even "normal" (see: not games like dies irae) plotge, and are arguably harder. There are TWO benefits to tling nukige as far as I can see - one, they tend to be short, and two, in the end nobody will look at your tl too closely to criticize it, unlike they would do for a normal game.

No worries. Most of that is moot anyway, the real problem is time consumption. A 2-10 hour game with 7500 lines will take 100 hours minimum if you maintain a very fast pace. (100 lines / hour, 1 line every 50 seconds or so. extra time due to editing). Going slower than that will literally add hundreds of hours. Spending 3 minutes per line because you're a beginner or you really eant a good TL? It'll take you 375 hours minimum to finish. That's a fuckload of time. That's a year of spending 1 hour a day translating.
In short, even a nukige is a huge time sink. Time is the biggest obstacle by far.
