Not really. What you're describing is actual performance in races. What I was describing is the performance of just the car. Sure being good means you'll go faster, but even regardless of that there are differences between cars and some are straight up better than others. The thing is tho, the T20 isn't the best. Supers have become the most balanced racing class, with the top four of the turismo r, zento, Osiris, and T20 being within the margin of error on a circuit-style track. They also have different handling, with different power distribution, gear profiles, and overall handling feel. In contact races, they become a lot closer, as the turismo and zento have oversteer while the T20 and Osiris have understeer; this allows the turismo and zento to take a sharper line and block the T20 or Osiris in the turn.
Saying you own the T20 because it is the best is retarded. You should like it either for looking like the P1 or for its understeering, circuit-style handling. Honestly, get a menu for single player, buy the turismo r, zento, Osiris, and T20, and test drive each one before buying it online.
Since the sabre custom, super is now the most balanced class in GTAV, with 4 cars that handle, feel, and look completely different from one another; there is no "best".

The handling configs are different due to deformation. Single player can have wheel and suspension damage, which will change handling if you keep crashing into stuff. It can range from unaligned steering, excessive chamber, and eventually the whole wheel can lock up. Also, damage will decrease engine output. Contact missions are fairly easy and provide money and stuff pretty fast. You can just select quick job from your phone and select contact mission from there to queue up. Heists are pretty fast as well, but a lot of the times people will fuck them up, unless you play with people who you know aren't fucking retards.
There are some other ways that are a bit faster, though I'd say those require you know how everything works.
A crewsession is up for those of us that doesnt want to pubstomp randoms.
