Yeah that is what we are worried about but we figured we can try to keep it to a smaller community atm. We have people here that I know would play which I am hoping is a decent size of 30+ people including the rest of us. We have enough to do content and enjoy the game.
Plus the files will be given to each person 1 by 1 that join that will be connect to their account and computer basically. So we don't have people sharing with random employees of said companys

That's not really how it works, anyway the strict rotation starts at 48, but regardless of any of that they're still fun to level, except for being squishy.
In reality brawlers and gunners are the easiest and most lax to level, but don't put down sorcs because you hear their rotation is complex, they're a really fun class which is satisfying to play well.

well, reaper was just imo, they gave pretty good money at the end the patch before when ghille/mwa/vgc was prominent, still the fastest class to level up overall
brawler would be the way to go then, you can carry/solo the IMS dungeons with them, and it's pretty basic as far as rotations and stuff go

There is no need to "tank" as a brawler, you attack like you would and use skills to help yourself survive like you would. They don't play like a tank, they just block everything so they don't die anyway and they do so much damage while having threat boosts that no one can pull off of them.

I'm not even sure what to do right now. I want to keep just three characters: dps, tank, healer, but I made the mistake of making a priest while having a mystic. Now I'm pretty much stuck having to choose because fuck being at the mercy of shitty dps in matchmaking twice as much. Priest seems really nice for dungeons and giant burst of heals while on the other hand I have a much easier time on mystic doing things like CS.

Not how dumb your party is, just whether they are properly levelled for the area. Playing Lancer on a lv 60 dungeon when lv 65 gunners sweep every room is no fun either.
Priest gameplay is most fun in challenging dungeons, because it is there that you get to exercise all of your skills. Support classes are meant to be the backbone of a team, keeping the rest of the party healthy and safe. If you're not supporting them actively, you shouldn't be playing support in the first place.
Also, the mana regen aspect of Restorative Burst comes from a glyph you get.

It's a pretty comprehensive tutorial that focuses on both pvp and pve.
The general idea is to put lots of glyphs onto skills you use a lot, like focus heal and energy stars, and to never put on mana reduction glyphs.
This is my pve glyph setup.

Another piece of advice that they give in the tutorial is to rebind keys to something natural.
I agree with the idea that the number keys 6-10 are cumbersome, but I went further as you can see and rebound almost everything to buttons around wasd or on my mouse with shift and control as modifiers.
I used to always miss the right button on skills 4-10 and f4-f10, but since I've rebound them, the only mistakes I make involve using guardian's respite instead of pulling, which is just because I don't pull very often.
Using something that makes sense to you is the most important thing, so do something that fits your setup and your experience; I chose my setup after a few hours of tinkering, with some small adjustments every so often.

I'm currently testing glyphs on some grunts around highwatch, but I'm having a bit of trouble taking enough damage, so I'll post the results in a few minutes.
It seems like glyphs in general do not update the skill text like armor does, since even text on skills like self heal are not changed by glyphs like increased effect.

Without the 20% boost, I was healing 35k per heal without crits.
With the boost, I heal 41k without crits, which is roughly 6k more, meaning that the 20% boost does indeed work.
I assume these findings also apply to other skills like energy stars.
I guess in general, glyphs don't change the skill text, which is pretty annoying.

Jesus Christ I don't even know how people who play this game manage to remember to breathe. Just got put in a BoL with a priest who couldn't even fucking heal and a brawler that was dead and not inside the dungeon. Somehow beat the first boss but tell them to wait, couldn't decide to kick the priest or brawl first but I went with brawl since he wasn't even in the dungeon and was dead. Only other person with a brain was a zerk and the sorc didn't bother kicking brawl so I left. Even told the sorc to stop attacking things so I could kick the priest super early on hoping the brawl would join.

The fact with that you're concerned about these things means you'll be a better caretaker than most parents are to their children.
Right now you're the only family she has, so of course she needs some time to cope with the rug being pulled out of under her feet during very formative years, but what you can be is loving and supportive, and stay positive.
She's having to confront adulthood and reality at a much younger age then most people, and you are having to come to terms with what it means to experience real responsibilities.
Don't let her escape reality but be there for her as well, try to inspire her in other ways, reading, art, anything creatively driven can really help. And as you two grow close, be honest with her. Kids can handle it. I don't mean going out of your way to make her worry but defining what the current reality is for them is something you can do. Don't focus so much on your own fears of what to do, think about the day by day process. What is she learning from you through each day? If she sees you working hard, staying positive, being loving, that's the best because she'll learn that even thought awful things happened, it isn't all terrible.
If you really don't have the means, adoptive family might work but don't exclude yourself from this child's life, if you do find a family fit and willing to take her in, stay a big part of her life, because you're now the only connection she has with her mother, and it doesn't sound like the father was fit to be either.
If you can't find an adoptive home, look for some kind of community, especially people going through similar things. They're out there, and will help a lot. Having a support network in place to ask for help or guidance is very important. Even if it's just a close friend you trust, that's better than nothing.
It won't be easy at all, but it WILL be worth it.
And you're right, it isn't your future, but you will grow to understand how precious that fact is.

Started playing on an old priest character... And I found it harder.
KDNM, second boss, with a mystic the jaunt as so long range that you jaunt out of range of it's wide AoE "laser".
It seems that you can't iframe it, so with priest you're kinda fucked, and have to throw up a kayas shield and cleanse immediately. Or stay close enough to the boss that you your backstep is enough to get out of "sight".
Priest has more healing power, but generally, you won't need it. Even in a bad party, titanic favor is usually enough to keep people alive, and if they take heavy damage, boomerang pulse can often put them back to full HP.
The totem also heals for quite a bit, and it has close to 50% up time. Even your healer pet can heal teammates if you're close to them, which also has an AoE cleanse (not that you should use it for BRHM though).
Also, Mystic has a buff it can put on a player to let them self-revive, which can be glyphed to work on mystic as well.
At the moment titanic wrath is pretty hard to keep up with, unless you have a good team that sticks together for it... But that will change in some time, where you're basically a walking "energy of stars"... that also has crit rate bonus.
Also, mystics has a reduce dmg by 50%, which you can tap, so it doesn't go on cool down. Though, that skill is also used to infuse mana to teammates, so it'll often be on cool down, if they need mana.
And on that, Mystic arguably has better mana regeneration for teammates, but does itself struggle with mana much more than priest (priest doesn't need infused, even if you need to spam heal... Mystic needs infused).
Good thing with priest is that it has an AoE cleanse instead of lock-on, which makes things A LOT easier on the first boss of BR and BRHM (the disorient makes your crosshair offset, so you cant rely on it to lock-on).
