Your CARRY Abaddon is going to be a position 2 or even 3. You're never going to be a position 1, dude. Keep that in mind.
Build that basi ring next, get that fuckin' magic wand and some phase boots. Take that basi ring and turn it into a Vlads, and rush a fuckin' S&Y.
After this it depends how the game goes,you can just go a fuckin' basher and run to people and bash their fucking face if you're ballin' outta control and expect to finish early, or you can go Skadi into a AC.
If this goes really late, finish that fuckin' abyssal and after your skadi / heart + AC you can go MKB for the damage.
Max the shield first, 2 points into the passive, max the heal, finish the passive. Always max the ultimate whenever the chance.

you can win games with pretty much any role at that mmr if you just work on your mechanics and very basic decision making (ie every time you die a stupid death think about why and just DONT do that and youll be gaining mmr really quickly)
midlane is the preferred lane for people looking to carry in pubs because you can have a lot of impact early on and transition into a carry role depending on what hero you're on
playing hard carry is a thing where you're pretty much going to be crippled trying to play the role without good supports because you're going to have a lot less farm without guaranteed safe farm, stacked camps ... basically competent supports. so you have to learn to farm VERY efficiently (relative to your play level) and never die
don't doubt support, either. playing a support at your mmr is the only way to guarantee that you will have a support, and being GOOD at support is the only way to guarantee you have a good support. learn the basics of supporting and you'll be a better carry

Support is where I hit the hardest ceiling.
Offlane is where I had the narrowest impact
Carry is where I had the biggest hurdles
Midlane is where I had the best overall effect.
Utility always just falls flat, unless I'm someone with a massive teamfight ability like Tide, Earthshaker or Enigma.
I played support almost exclusively for my first year of Dota, with an 85% winrate as CM until I hit 2900 and suddenly every carry became an idiot.
And them captain's mode died. Not only did I have to struggle against bad players, I also had to struggle against their bad picks.
