I have to run an errand quickly but FOTE should be updated to v5 on steam now. You should see new mod icons by our new team member Verzione for parts 1/2/3/4. I will work on updating KOTO for those who want AOC with fote skins but not fote mechanics soon.
In terms of changes:
-Sassanid roster revamped
-White huns revamped with Avetis' sub-mod.
-tech requirements removed for the desert kingdom units (that made them not appear on your building trees until after you had unlocked them. Now they are still building-tech locked by tier, so for instance your camel cata for Himyar are T4 barracks).
-Various bug-fixes.
-White huns need further stat balancing so bear that in mind.
-I'll try and catch whatever bugs you report when I am in this topic.
Fairly sure some areas like the mid-east mercs may be a bit messy still.

Nah, that I think would involve startpos editing and some other stuff. Avetis' sub mod with the white huns will need to be updated to FOTE but when he does you'll be able to do his whole "White hun nomads or white hun sedentary faction" business.
So for now white huns will be like in vanilla, just with their new units. And because we aren't editing the startpos yet some of their starting armies begin with Germanic or Sarmatian units, but once the celts and nords are done we will look into finally editing the startpos

It literally didn't. Brandenburg was the more powerful of the two during the merge but since prussia was outside of HRE it gave more independence to the Hohenzollerns. Prussia was a shitty backwater duchy that was a vassal state of fucking POLAND. The only reason hohezollerns ruled in it was because that spawn of satan heretic scum Grandmaster that betrayed the Catholic Church and formed a secular protestant state of Prussia was a Hohenzollern.
