I've been having an issue with this game (and TERA).

Textures were not worse, they were much higher resolution compared to what we have now. It was too ambitious for MMO design.
Hair looked better, you could see knuckles on hands, feet had individual toes instead of webbed blocks that are glued to sandals, higher skin resolution.

i've read before that you should end with flare on 2 targets but still do the single target rotation otherwise (f4 f4 f1 f4 f4), however i'm not sure it's actually a gain and it's really annoying for two reasons:

Their own rules sort of limited them to one Scholar skill every five levels, and they had to waste the first three giving them their Cure II, their Medica, and their Esuna. Match it up to your eye colour on the palette coordinates, or use black. Those are the two easy ways to make limbal rings that look decent.
There're definitely other ways to make them look good but that typically requires a lot of trial and error.If you use dull neutral colours, you can get away with changing your limbal ring colour to achieve different eye colours in a close range without it looking strange until really close shots.
