Strategic bombing wasn't a meme, it made perfect sense using it against Germany (and to some extent Japan).
If you use bombs to destroy a few tanks and halt an armoured advance, that's great, but if you destroy a factory that produces tanks then you halt production and it takes potentially days to recover just to be able to resume production.

Main problem with clap+bong teams is the bomberspam that takes up around 25-50% of the team. Of course, airstart like on Guinea is another part of the problem, but I'd argue not as prominent one.

The reason why nip planes aren't complained about is that most of them can be countered using fairly simple tactics. It's not as easy dealing with Spitfires and Yak rocketmachines in a 109/190 as it is dealing with Ki-43s and A6Ms in a P-63 or P-47.
With the exception of bullshit P2W UFOs like the Nipsair, A7M1 and shitty tier IV flight models, it's really just a case of needing to fucking git gud.

While Hayabusa does see some usage thanks to the airstart and solid performance, their teams are dominated by undertiered/UFO planes and those planes are nicely spread shitting up a wide range of BRs (J2M in lower, A7M1/Ki-84 ko in mid and N1K in higher range in particular)

I have to disagree with this part. Ki-44 was a turd on introduction, just because it handles worse than the Ki-43 doesn't make it a shit plane, only subpar. ki-61s are among the top mixed fighters in the game, MG-151 one is amazing, even at 4.7, which tells something.

The J2M2 is incredibly under tiered and can energy fight literally everything at it's tier, bf-109 F1 syndrome with actual guns
The Ki-84 ko is similar to the J2 but tiered higher.
The 43 has maneuverability and guns but that's it

I never even realised there was something that automatically controlled flaps, what the fuck kind of setting is that? Is it something on or off by default?
Also, gears down creates more lift at takeoff speed (something to do with the drag), so you need to leave them down a little while after initial takeoff.
I've noticed it most on a Do 217 with heavy bombload. Even setting flaps to takeoff as you get up to speed and leaving them, if you take up the gear quickly after you lift off the ground then it will just dip back down and land on its belly.

I tried flying it in SB. Trying to roll even a slight bit feels like it's also using the rudder apart from the ailerons with how much it moves around, contrary to the 190D.
Which shouldn't even be fucking possible if it's using the same wing and (somewhat) similar airframe to the 190D, just elongated back and front. If it also has the same CoG, then it shouldn't feel as greasy/floaty/drunky/whateveradjectiveyouwanttouse to fly.
It gets worse at low speed with that handling since gear rips off at 300kmh.
Even if you get your guns on someone, the stock accuracy of the 20mm is horrifying, but at least the 30mm mk103 is still very accurate for a stock gun and has 90 ammo.I WANTED TO BELIEVE
