You can kind of guess by those two pictures that there's nothing to get. Sometimes you can repair, sometimes you can't. Each plane has a different damage model so who knows where the threshold is, if there is one.
I once had my engine crit while I was the last player on my team. Engine cut out as I was on landing approach but I got down safely and started a quick 20 second repair. Match decided to start bleeding tickets on our team because we had "lost all aircraft" and the round ended as I was taking off.
