Back when 0.5 second fuses still existed it was possible to fly really low with an enemy right behind you and drop a bomb which would explode under them and kill them, I'm sure there are some gifs floating around. I did it once or twice in the B-25, it wasn't incredibly uncommon.
If you mean dropping them on a plane on the runway, yeah, that's very common. It's especially easy in fighters that carry bombs because their speed makes it easy to set up for.

Because they spawn about 2 km away from the fighting, airborne (except on one or two maps), and there aren't necessarily any enemy fighters or aircraft in the air when it happens. RBGF is the most absurd combat scenario in the entire game.

Battlefield 4 air was balanced entirely around jets and people on the ground taking them out. Attack helicopters got caught in the middle and absolute ass raped. One of the worst offenders of this was the MAA with the active radar missiles, which is one of those game mechanics which makes you wonder if people actually want to play video games or just watch flashy thing happen on screen. It required so little input where what you would do is fire missiles look vaguely in the direction of a target and the missile would then go and hit it the target would then either be dying, dead or crashing due to the missiles pushing things around.
Now you may be say but realism (You can go get fucked metaphorical person who is probably to shit to use even bog standard lock on launchers found in other games which are already bordering on gone home levels of gameplay.) because battlefield 4 has absolutely no realism at all nor does it have any design indicating it does, battlefield is about authentic feel not realism, if realism was the targeted goal you would be instagibbed by even being near a rocket.

I used to take max fuel load in the F-84 back when I had no upgrades and every match was hokkaido and the AAA wasn't ridiculous because it meant I could just run around the map for ~36 minutes while the meteors could only do so for ~15 (considering infiniWEP), and then I would kill them on the runway. Countless meteors died, either to J-ing when they ran out of gas or to bullets when they tried to land for more.
