Beanie lifts Spring off of her, Spring, not expecting her to move so abruptly, tumbles backwards onto her rump. You try and catch her but get caught under her weight. That said, Beanie doesn't bolt in your brief moment of being pinned, so maybe your words had some impact on her...?
You see Beanie walk to the door, slumped over like a child being chided to stealing a candy bar. You and Spring get back on your feet and follow her, feeling like Prison Guards more than Adventurers for some reason. That said, hopefully she'll say she's sorry, the Shopkeeper will let her go, you'll get your rewards and maybe even not be completely broke for the rest of your adventures.

From what I've seen when it comes to artist-tennis is that to initiate, you draw the other artist's characters in a style that is close to how they drew it, but still recognizably yours to continue the story.
Then the other person picks up on that and makes the return when the ball is in their court.

Toy Bonnie has an over-inflated ego and is horribly selfish. However because of this ego he strives to be as perfect as he imagines himself being. If he can't live up to his own expectations, he's a horrible failure who is worthless and good for nothing.
This goes double when it comes to music. He was made to be an excellent musician, and his skill in music is the only thing he values more than himself. If he fails to be the best at music, he considers himself absolutely worthless.
He also has no idea his arrogance is the reason people hate him so much, so he veils their cruel words under his own swollen ego to help cope with the more direct insultsthe ones that aren't as blunt he's sincerely oblivious to, though.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Classic Bonnie's ego is incredibly small, but he's equally selfish, prone to making problems about him, and very quick to pull a 'woe is me' card. While it can earn him pity, it also earns him the status of a killjoy and a flat-out bummer to be around. This is only heightened by his depression and neurosis.
