Here's the results of a test I conducted in my Thunderdome, vs 10 Raiders. Three runs - one with Gauss and 20 ammo, one with a hunting sniper and 40 ammo, one with a semi-auto plasma rifle and 30 ammo against 10 pipe pistol totting raiders. At first I tested with 100 but it took way too long and their fucking molotovs ruined everything.
Overall it went like (based on remaining ammo):
1. Hancock - run 1: 7; run 2: 27, run 3: 12
2. Deacon - run 1: 9; run 2: 21; run 3: 11
3. Curie - run 1: 8; run 2: 18; run 3: 11
4. Cait - run 1: 6; run 2: 12; run 3: 12
5. Dance - run 1: 5; run 2: 13; run 3: 10
6. Piper - run 1: 4; run 2: 13; run 3: 9
7. MacCready - run 1: 4; run 2: 6; run 3: 7
8. X6 - run 1: 0; run 2: 5; run 3: 0

Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 are both shit rpgs.
One of the many things that i enjoy about fallout 4 is the huge design improvement over the animals and robots.
I love how more fluid the protectrons are as well as different types they have to make up how abundant they are, i love how giant and imposing the sentry bots are, i love how much more personality and different voices the mr and mrs handy's have as well as greater more fluid motions.
I love the redesign of the mirelurks and the addition of the giant bloodbugs for more bug variety. I also enjoy how bigger and lumbering the deathclaws are.

When companion idolizes you, there is speech check called ROMANCE. Pass that and you will get bonus for sleeping nearby.

In their defense, I haven't yet seen a studio that does guns entirely right. My biggest quibble with 4 is the left-handed bolt-action rifles. At least the long-barreled double barrel has a reasonable range and does have a tightened spread relatively appropriate to its length. The pipe guns aren't half bad either, if a little unwieldy looking.

Its the same reason they sent synths to kill everyone at the Commonwealth Provisional Government meeting, preventing that nation from forming.

A) actually tricky to fight if you're in the habit of bullet spam
B) Actually look scary and animalistic instead of a dude in an ugly crab costume
C)interesting to look at, including the king and queen variants.
The guns are definitely the biggest step back from NV. Despite me loving the weapon modding system, the actual designs are pretty meh across the board. Also, not having a levergun I can take from a .22 plinker to a .45-70 Deathclaw hunting companion is kind of a letdown.

Sanctuary is a recruitment outpost, it's a suitable name for settlers looking for a home to hear on the radio. settlers arrive, are processed, given equipment and deployed to their permanent duty station.
Zimonja is a concentration camp for synth saboteurs, and Danse. I don't have anything against Danse, but I can't have the brotherhood crash landing vertibirds into settlements I actually put effort into building. Plus, when the synths do betray me, he'll just skullfuck them all with his super sledge.
Starlight is a ghoul city and trade hub, big pit stop for all caravans and provisioners.
Castle is obviously the big military fortress it should be, Covenant is a smaller fort. Both garrisoned to the brim with soldiers, for whenever a mod comes out that lets me fucking do something interesting with them.
Red Rocket is companion home.
Spectacle Island will someday be remade into Prostitute Island... someday.

I think they are more interesting but they aren't written nearly as well. Their motives seem questionable, whereas the Enclave (sorta) makes sense.
The thing about the institute is that they are always just being fucking retarded "we dindu nuthin" type deals. It should have been easy to flesh out their motives, but Beth fucked up. Everything they do is questionable in an attempt to make it a grey area decision and instead it just becomes a clusterfuck.
Meanwhile, the west coast Enclave makes sense. It isn't far fetched to think that there could be another surviving branch of Enclave, and it also isn't (that) farfetched to consider the possibility of a president persona failsafe. Just like FO4, their motives are pretty questionable as well and honestly unlike FO4, it really doesn't flesh it out beyond "bad guys kill em." But I don't think anything isn't in line with how you would expect the Enclave to act under a presidential persona.

First I booted up FO4 as far as the launcher. Then I disabled all my mods, then re-enabled them.
Then I went to C:\Users\[User Name Here]\AppData\Local\Fallout4
In there I made sure loadorder and plugins were set to read only.
Do this and your mods should work.
