What's funny about it is that I solo'd the well my first try on NG+ but kept dying when I was helping other people.
Just try and get the first guy to the side of the pillar opposite the ladder, this will buy you some time to finish off the first guy while the second drops down so he's not on top of you.
Also he'll start walking over that way once he hits half health to join his buddy, use that to backstab and visceral the shit out of him, or you can hit him with a shaman bone blade when his back is turned and let them kill each other.

Well, I actually tried parrying her attacks for my first few runs of Maria and gave up on it since I wasn't getting them reliably and on NG++ even with 50 Vit and +15% HP rune you'll get three-shotted by her, but you can parry her dash straight forward at you, you can parry the second and third string on her basic combo pretty easily, and you can super easily parry her overhead smash with both blades.

ACB takes seven bullets, the L2 only uses 2/3 (I don't remember which amount.) and strikes thrice. Also, it has super armor after the startup. ACB takes ages to cast and you can be easily stunned out of it.

There's no benefit to having insight. It's only use is as a currency, so saving it is pointless.
Holding insight reduces beasthood (making beast pellets less effective), reduces frenzy resist considerably and causes some subtle changes to the game. Most notably is that the church guys will have eyes growing from their lanterns and a pair of magic attacks with it if you have enough insight, and that around 50 or so, you can see the Amygdalas without breaking the ritual seal.
So I beat Ailing Loran and got literally everything in it, whats the next step in getting gud bloodgems?

Having a lot of insight makes hemwick witches more difficult. Mechanically, more insight = frenzy builds up really fast and your beasthood build up is crap.
You may want to stack some for farming winter lanterns if you don't have high frenzy resist gear, so you can visceral attack through the frenzy effect and not take any damage from it.

Sort of. Depending on what you want to do with your character, some origins will get you there faster than others.
For example, if you chose Noble Scion and decided to make your character STR/ARC, you'll have to invest a lot of extra levels into that character because that particular origin has higher SKL/BLT than most classes. Choose a class that has high stats in whatever category you think you'll use the most. If you're not sure, consider choosing something like Milquetoast (Balanced stats) or Lone Survivor (VIT-based).

Beast claws L2 has a significantly long startup animation, can be parried, and doesn't knock down even in pve

Also: no it doesn't leave you open if you chain it off the leap-dash. The leap-dash stagger literally guarantees the roar stagger which guarantees the call hits. Yes people can dodge the leap due to latency, but you only need to land it once and it's game over. Also: that thing is 100% hyper-armor the entire way through the leap all the way through the landing.

Depends on where you are in game.
There are three runes which boost echoes gained
1 in yahargul by the hypogean gaol lamp
1 in the micolash boss fight area at the bottom of the spiral staircase
1 for performing the contact gesture in front of the brain of mensis
Equip as many of those as you can get or already have first.
Then you can either kill the pigs in mergos loft (run them over to where the shadows of yharnam are and they'll kill each other for you)
You can farm the students in the first floor of the lecture hall as they drop lots of bullets as well and it's a quick walk and you can usually one shot them easily.
If you have managed to get any deeper chalice dungeons unlocked FRC's have tons and tons of echoes.

Only depth 5 dungeons can have all three at once.
So you need to beat the main D5 dungeons and get the root version, then all you need is to make a single one with all three rites. Once you do that you can access any dungeon that you own the root chalice for with any rite applied.
You only need to make your own FRC once to be able to get access to a shared one.

The way I would do it is that all chalices/materials are shared on every character via a box. Each character still has to make the chalices though so progression isn't shared meaning that you still have to pay the BE to make them and you still have to kill the chalice bosses which is pretty fucking hard if you're going to twink.

Clear out some spiders so you don't have to worry as much about offscreen one shots, always keep Rom in your view to make sure the faggot's not casting spells while you focus on other things
The easiest way I've found is to stay at the right distance to bait Rom's roll over attack where the missiles come out of the ground, rush Rom before the missiles come out and stay at it's side while mashing R1, the missiles never come out at Roms sides and she'll be recovering from the ground missile attack long enough for you to empty your stamina bar
That's how I've been doing it for every character with minimal trouble, good luck familia

Look at it this way.
Without runes, and using Blood Bullets before every shot the old cannon can fire 2 shots, you'll have 6 bullets left over.
With the church cannon using the same strategy you can fire 4 shots and have no bullets left.
If you want to use runes you can see how two fewer bullets makes a decent difference.
