>What is Tree of Savior?
Tree of Savior is a new action MMORPG with a lot of classes and cute hats. IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. The game is currently in the beta phase, and not fully released.

OOB has huge setup type (protect body + zalciai), it's not always practical to use. It was fine, since it required positioning and skill to use, compared to braindead OP swordsman classes.

I didn't say it was hard to use, just not always practical. You wouldn't bother setting up a OOB to kill a few trash mobs for example.

OOB wasn't even Sadhu's best skill. It has too many cons, decreases your def to 0, needs the invisible buff to deal decent damage, is completely useless in areas with few mobs, requires Safety Zone. This nerf took it to the ground, now it's just not useful at all. Mobs will aggro you and destroy your shield before you can even kill them.

Top DPS, big AoEs without Linker, you can also enjoy having 2 wizards in a party without conflicting links. You can change Pyro2 for Linker, but the Rank 4 is the lamest to level. Ele C1 is trash, but C2 onwards is amazing and a complete boss wrecker.

OOB can only hit two mobs at a time if they're close to each other, it is not stronger than your average Holpite 3 auto attack with crit. You need to be constantly moving, waiting for Safety Zone to cooldown, setting up Zaibas then killing mobs before they hit you. You're extremely vulnerable against hard hitting mobs since your defense goes to 0 during OOB. There's too many nuances in the skill already, nerfing their damage to 0 kills it. They're not balancing shit with the class. Sadhu's Possession is still one of the best DPS skills in the game, they just shat on OOB, might as well remove it completely. Hope your little brain can understand why this wasn't a good fix. Sadhu is still OP, but is now a one trick pony.

It doesn't even cost an HP actually. It doubles your HP pool for 35sec (that's why the user lost HP, it was max HP difference) PLUS gives you free SP. The skill is totally OP.

Anon there has to be limits you know, I agree that game feels auto attack heavy for the first 1-4 classes, but if you really want to spam nothing but skills clearly by rank 5 you can fill your bar with a lot of different shit if you class hop at everyrank up, that's like the entire basis of the game, you want strong skills with long cooldowns invest into the same class, you want press 20 buttons and never be out of spells, then keep switching shit and you'll get a lot of cute outfits along the way for fashion whoring which is basically end game anyways.
Any tips for getting past 185? I somehow ended up stuck at 50% or so and need another level to hit up the 196 map. I'm soloing the 175 dungeon but I'm about halfway through and it seems inefficient as a shit archer.

They need to halve skill cooldown when you reach a class' 3rd circle (through an attribute). Currently for most classes there's no point to go c3, you're better off taking more classes, c1 or c2 at most, because you get more skills (which makes you deal more dps, since you can keep a permanent rotation).
Class design is currently flawed.
the only fun i've gotten out of this game is breaking/hacking the shit out of it and then someone goes and reports the simplest stat abuse bug. no fun allowed

Exp curve resets at 186 and right after that is the 190 dungeon. You can get to 200 like an hour after you hit 186 if you have a class that's okay at soloing dungeons

I didn't mean no cooldowns, but some of the existing skills have insanely long cooldowns for no reason.
Now, take a cleric, warrior or archer. You run out of cooldowns or SP, what do you do, autoattack. The numbers don't look that bad, and hell, you can probably hit more than 1 monster at a time too.
Then, look at wizard - I blew all my cooldowns, now I'm forced to bunny hop with my 200 damage autoattack until all resets.
It's no fun. I don't want 0 cd on all skills, but I don't want to be useless either.

Cooldown reduction is going to be very strong and very sought for that exact same reason, so far there's no gear that supports it, and they have been very secretive about introducing the cooldown reduction potions.

For example, there was a bug/exploit where teleporting to some area costed you -343636367347 silvers, which actually gave you that amount. No one knows. The reason the previous rates changed to the ones we got before the exp event is because even Koreans thought they were too low. The exp event we got for the last two weeks of the beta is also what Koreans considered making the grind too easy (because they got several exp events over the course of their beta)
Right now, Korea has better rates (I mean, they already did but only because the event affected their exp cards, too) due to rank 7 being added. If we see another beta with rank 7, they'd probably keep it similar to that (probably leave the exp cards as they are, but that won't matter considering there are more exp cards now that Orsha's been added)
They can and probably will just use tests to toy with the rates and find where they're comfortable leaving it for release. I wouldn't expect the exact icbt2 rates, but I wouldn't expect as low as the original rates either. If we're guessing, though, then double the original rate

It's a strange feeling, to camp in a dungeon alone, to realize that Squirec2 skills dont work here, no base camp and no food. Struggling to reach lv200. And in the end feeling the negative stigma of exp hotkey exploits that makes your achievement null and dulls your personal pride.
Though this experiment does proof something: Highlander, albeit pretty slow later on - it's still viable for going Squirec2 but impossible to Squirec3. You might curse the world while grinding your class to lv15 and beyond that, levelling in rank7 with only rank2-4 skills is torture.
I hope squire will be available a rank earlier than now because fuck, let's be honest here. Outside of jewing, squire provides no way of coping the lack of offensive and defensive skills to properly lay a foundation for r8 and beyond.
