If your pet is that low, I would SERIOUSLY advice you to quit now.
The usefulness of the Companion only lasts as long as the thing is above monster's level. Unless you have a pet from another character that's AT LEAST, don't dare running a Hunter.
As long as monsters are under, or at least the same level as your pet, it's pretty much invulnerable. Not because it doesn't die when the HP is 0, but because nothing ever hits it, and if they do, the damage ridiculously low. Those things are sturdy as fuck.
But their usefulness goes out the window onsters are 15 levels above them. They start dying to one hit, which caused them to forget their current given order and lose all their STA. Without STA, they become slow and unresponsive. Pretty much useless.
Mine was 133 when I made my Hunter. I got to 195 Hunter3 Falconer with my pet at 175. Stuff at the last few maps was killing my pet with a single slap. I was already over the 186 exp wall though, so it was easy after that point.
Quickening level 2 on the TS. It's a bit faster I think. When I get to level 5 I'll get a Necro to help me test it on their skeletons, it should be more visible like that. I really hope this isn't a super minor increase, considering it's only auto attacks as far as I know it should be pretty substantial.

Then you must have pretty shit gear or not know what you are doing because I do that dungeon pretty much daily on my Pyro/Sorc and that damage doesn't look very impressive. Seems to be about equal to what Flame Ground and 1 Fireball would do. Add your other spells and Temple Shooter's S Skill alone already taking off 1/4-1/3 of the bosses health and it pales in comparison. And that's not even a class that's particularly good at boss'ing.

Yeah it's definitely caused by aoe attack ratio. I made an incredibly shitty video that shows how it works after putting on vubbe fighter gloves. It only works on small monsters, any medium or large monsters only take 1 hit. I tested with the little critters in demon prison 1 without a weapon on and it seems to work there too.

In the spirit of archer testing:
Full Draw spreads Wugong Gu. This gives you two initial targets with which to spread the poison. Hitting one skewered target appears to spread the poison on both. I'm using Wugong Gu 1 and you can see it spreading to 2 other targets.

Orsha eventually stops around 100-115, and you go to Fedimian to do Mage Tower, so anything past then is what you've already seen.
However, I'm currently Level 110/Class Level 5 (R4) and I'm going to do Klaipeda's quests up to Mage Tower.
I'm on 116 Level 4 EXP Cards and I just got to Akmens Ridge. I'm gonna stop for now and continue later though.
There's also a few more maps from 103 to 115 in Orsha I've not done which I can pick up later too. I don't think I'll have much issues with levelling.

If cannons are really slow, it might be worth taking Scout C3. The skill is pretty good, the problem is that auto-targetting skills are all like that. Happens with Falconer's Hovering too.

When I made my most recent character (which got to 200, unlike the rest that I had some dislike of for one reason or another), I skipped the first story quest and just grinded until I got to 50 and then 5 runs of the 50 dungeon. Good luck getting a full party for that though at this stage of the game, especially a healer.

You could probably recruit a high level player, and use dodgy mechanics to have them in your dungeon to help you, but not have them kill anything. Downside is you're losing one source of damage, but in exchange that damage isn't going to give you one exp per kill in exchange.

Skipping 90 if you're pelt based, sure, because you have areas that are solid mob density and easily killed. Skipping 50, not so much, since everything between 50-70 is basically ass density or a pain in the ass to kill.
