That is actually true. In Fallout 2 you could kill kids and there were two different update patches for it that I had on a CD. One was the US patch. The other was the EU patch, which did the same thing as the US patch but also made kids invisible (which was even worse than just making them disappear)

I've never been to /jp/ once, and I do have a live account. No, you're not going to become a millionaire over night, but if you find a good way where you consistently end up breaking even or better, it's perfectly doable. It's the only way to go from little money, to a lot. Consistent, slow returns add up.
With futures/options, you need a lot more money, but they offer a lot of neutral + directional strategies, where you're very likely to make money, wether it moves or not. Trade small, trade often. Reduce cost basis by selling premium.

Well, my education was kind of shit. Let's just say IT towards user-design. It'll be relevant in ~5-10 years when I no longer need it. If I had just worked from age 18, life would've been a lot easier. The gap education gives you, simply doesn't cover the massive amount of money you could accumulate simply by growing your work savings in those years.
If you enjoy it, keep doing it I guess. Just be aware that "art" is very difficult to make a living off of (if you have any sort of morals). I do know someone who just takes pictures, projects on canvas and paints one a day. He's got a gallery and makes a bunch of money from it, so I guess if you're persistent and just find something that sells, you can make it, too. Even if you draw well, that doesn't mean you will be successful. Todays "art" is a bullshit money laundering scheme.

The Institute has made amazing scientific progress and houses probably some of the greatest minds left in the Commonwealth, but they're doing unethical and shady shit to get there. The Brotherhood of Steel has the type of system and structure and strength that humanity needs if it's ever going to get back on its feet, but hoarding technology for themselves and annihilating synths seems counterproductive to that. If I side with them I've heard that they also just destroy the Institute and all of what its learned, not even bothering to assimilate its tech or learn anything from it. Am I the only one bored with this? The perk system is weird, straight damage boost are at the bottom and "utility" stuff is at the top for each stat, and the roleplay really feels limited with the shallow nature of the dialogue (not even skill/perk checks) and just how your actions affect the world around you in general work, I got tired quickly.
Also, settlements seem pretty tacked on to the game and aren't really integrated into any of the factions you play with in any meaningful way.

Whether they share some of those findings with the citizens of the Commonwealth is a different story but the Institute was never going to do that. They tried once and it failed, one of the first things that Father says is that they've given up on the surface and they're basically digging deeper underground and only looking out for themselves now.
