Holy fucking christ these defender respawn times are atrocious though. Literally WHO could have possibly programmed it that way and thought it was okay?
So to help put this in perspective, I used Snake and went to training on my own FOB, level 47 security across the board, 4 platforms
My blockade time with a level 86-88 security team is 18 minutes.
I set Snake to invisible and wasted no time spawning in, and then I just bolted directly from my wormhole and took the shortest path possible to reach the core 4 platforms away.
It was a pretty straight sprint. the time when I reached the door was 15:47 remaining.
The slowdowns I had during that were a couple of guards coming down the stairs (If you get within like 3 metres they can still see you so you have to punch combo them.
And also a landmine right near the core door that I just had to eat to get to the door as quick as possible.
As it was it took over 2 minutes with the fastest possible way to the core and almost no resistance, so 5 minutes isn't that crazy but that motherfucker would have to be booking it pretty hard around the guards and security systems if they're maxed out.

the PT is a short barrel conversion, the HB is an LMB barrel conversion, short barrels have higher firing rates and better auto-aim, LMG barrels have a closer shot grouping and a middle ground in range between the PT and the usual.
Really though most of these variants only exist for parts to swap out in customization to create a gun with all the best traits in one.

Well, generally speaking, the reasons you don't want an overly-short barrel is for long range accuracy, but a well-made gun can compensate for that to an extent, and moreover, accuracy for an assault rifle is somewhat relative. I'd rather carry something short and not have it bump into everything, drag, or be heavy as fuck than big-ass gun like an FAL, that may more may not out-shoot a smaller counterpart anyway.

I used to believe that but I've been spotted while lying down in stealth mode by a really close UAV. Sometimes I got instantly spotted while just prone and moving by a UAV. I used to think they were shit but they can surprise you. I always take them out on the last platform now.

1. Your 1st character uses Medic's/Avatar's face, right? If i change it in single player(Mgsv), does it changes too in MGO or it stays the way it when you created that character?
2. How's the movement? Is is exactly same as MGSV? Does it have that retarded thing, when you run and you think that you can run over small rock but for some reason you stop and bumping into the rock until you stop running?
3. Question to PS3/X360 players: Have you encountered any cheaters? If yes, what kind of? Wallhack? Instakill all enemy team? Aimbot? Teleport?
4. Does it have Voice chat? Does it help in cooperating or nobody listens and still shoots down the fultoned enemies?
5. How's fps compared to single-player? Same or lower? I wonder how big is perfomance hit i'll have on my toaster in MGO.

If you change it in single player, the changes update with it for your MGO character.

Exactly the same, except sprinting is not endless anymore. As for the sliding thing, it feels like the maps are designed so that that never happens because I've never had it happen in MGO.

Yes, but it depends who you're paired with as to whether it helps.

Same for the most part, though I've had some matches where it goes down, but that's thanks to the connection.
