Just having leadership thrust upon you for asinine or nonsensical reasons never sat well with me. Especially since you never feel like an actual leader or have to manage or recruit/test anyone, not even building teams to create and manage branches in other holds/countries/lands as you earn more money and fame.
Then again, I'm basing this all on Skyrim, where the only guilds/factions that don't thrust leadership onto you are the Dawnguard, where you're just an agent who happened to go on a simple investigation of some cavern to traversing a plane of Oblivion, an ancient civilization to get a holy weapon wielded by the Cheif-deity of your world, and destroy an entire royal clan of vampires.

I'd like Factions to be an actual thing though. If you're known to be in the Fighter's Guild, the Dark Brotherhood will be much more suspicious to you and it'll be harder to get in.
Also doing more than just two fetchquests to become the new leader because the old one conveniently bit the dust and they're electing the newcomer because of his "great deeds" in the past 5 hours.
I think the "being hero of everything" thing only exists because you can simply max all skills and be a Super Mary Sue. I wouldn't mind if they added some sort of limit to your skills, like you can only level like two skills per category (warrior, mage, thief). The more you level some skills, the harder the others become to level. This makes becoming "Ace of all Trades" not impossible, but probably so hard all but the most autistic grindphiliacs do it. But it still allows class-masters like a wizard versed in all schools without knowledge of combat or stealth, and multi-class builds like spellblades and assassinmages.

But that is exactly what it should do. If i see a high level orc bandit in heavy steelplate, there should still be ways to deal with him even if you aren't a tank with battlehammer yourself. Lay traps, prepare spells, chug potions.
Do you know how much i would love a spell that slows down enemies proportional to their armor rating? Or a lingering AoE spell that enemies actually avoid instead of suicidally running into it. Skyrim's combat is so boring because it's always "fastpaced" in-your-face weaponflailing, the game doesn't give you the chance, or even tools, to prepare for combat. If you look at vanilla skyrim, the only strong builds are "Tank DPS" and "stealtharcher".

I made a barbarian (classes = race - another bad thing here) with high Dex, Focus and Con and used that Shadowshit skill that absorbs health from enemies.
It's one of the first skills you can get but it ends up game breaking if you invest right.

I played a qt Outlander and ended up with so much dex out the ass only bosses and those spiderturrets were able to hit me, which wasn't much of a problem since you get that def-increasing and regenerating AOE spell that you can spam, alongside summons to tank for you. The only thing that really fucks you over is the awful controls.

I've almost settled on Falkonian ENB but I only get about 30 fps with that guy
I'm more concerned about color saturation than anything else, is there any ENB similar to that one in terms of how colorful it is but doesn't eat all my FPS

Hey dudes, what are some good mods for cloaks and backpacks? I used to have some good mods for it before my pc shit the bed but when i tried to look for them again i just found the cloaks of skyrim/backpacks of skyrim so i'm running with them atm but you see the problem is with the mods i used to have the cloaks looked way cooler as well as offering these big fur hoods you could wear over your head armor and npcs actually wore backpacks/pouches and cloaks + hoods a lot of the times i was out hunting or questing but now i've never once seen an npc with a backpack and it kinda kills the atmosphere a bit.
