It uses less contrast and more gradient shading, more saturation and soft lighting. Which works well for artificial media, especially fantasy worlds like Oblivion. You have to throw a lot of polygons, textures and postprocessing at your hardware to make "realistic" games like Skyrim look nice.

Any ideas for a good overhaul mod? I've been looking at these three:
1. ACE w/ DUEL and maybe ASIS too
2. Requiem
3. Skyrim Redone
I just want something that won't bug out on me in the long run or cause save bloat and offers the best experience with frostfall,wet and cold, and RND. The unleveled world stuff from Requiem is appealing but I'm not sure it's compatible with much of anything.

The game itself isn't even fucking good, I just want to use it for photography and walking simulator RP bullshit but I can't even do that. The gameplay is shit. The story is shit. The magic is shit. If Skyrim hits a certain point of memory usage during a loading screen, it freezes and locks you in an infinite loading screen. Vanilla, this is some stupidly low cap based on TESV.exe, but there's mods that remove that cap. If it still happens after that, the problem is your computer.
