I'll start off with the orthogonal view first, just to lay down the groundwork for when we 'tilt' the map. Angel Island appears to have something of medium size bay in it's sprites, and I'm assuming Sonic's journey would take him in a circular motion taking him from one point of the crescent to the other. (I must also warn you that this will take time obviously however I will do my best to finish it).
