Tree of Savior is a new action MMORPG with a lot of classes and cute hats. IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. Restrain attack traps are the most bullshit thing ever, even more than the boss running off screen at <1% health left then running away and coming back at full health.
I got stuck above it in the corner and could not move, heal/exorcise would not affect it, silence lands for the entire duration the traps are active and it was like 1/7 times they respawned that I could actually attack until they respawned again. If I had an extra 15 minutes I might've been able to kill it, but maint killed me first.

Also how does the squire/buy in shop work? You can go on other characters while it's up, but could you go full autism and have multiple squires and put them at all the good spots? Or do they limit you to 1? I guess a way around that is to make multiple accounts if it is limited.

Some skill questions for skills I haven't seen in action yet:
Can you use Chronomancer Back Masking to revive mobs/bosses after you kill them? Or how does it work? Can I party up with a barb/highlander, gather up 20 mobs, have the barb 1 shot them, get loot/xp, back mask and one shot them again for more loot/xp?
Does Cataphract Impaler give more smackdowns per points invested? I remember seeing some dude who kept smacking mobs down multiple times but I also partied with another guy who just did once each time.
How does Paladin Conversion work exactly? Is it a self buff that lets you converts enemies for X seconds on hit or is it a magic circle that lasts for 11-20 seconds and enemies inside have a chance to be converted when you smack them? Can you buff/debuff/attack the enemies you convert? How long do they stay converted for?
Does Paladin Smite do extra damage to some types of enemies besides those weak to strike? I've seen Paladins in Mage Tower 5f smite for 6k and I've seen Paladins in the prison smite for 10k.
Also, does enhancing the damage attribute of skills increase total damage dealt by the skill (attack value + buff + debuff + base damage) or does it only increase the listed damage of the skill?

At least with the party glitch I had my own party so people had to suck down their own retardation and just do the damn dungeon. It's like they're trying to super optimize what's frankly some really easy shit either way. You only need a linker if you're bad and have no other AoE or control. They make up for the fact that they aren't offensive wizards by linking.

I feel like Bokor3 really shines in places with a lot of mobs but Demon Prison was the only place like that. There's a lot of mobs that are Earth element as well so I feel like Zaibas is not as useful as the Effigy (when it's not fucking broken), Zaibas will scale a lot better though. I do like the extra 2 movespeed on Samdiveve and Bwa Kayiman's damage kinda falls off if it's only Lv5 on mobs after Demon Prison. Not a good sign because it's only gonna get worse for Lv10 Bwa Kayiman as well. Damballa's damage will scale with your Matk but it's difficult to use mainly because there's never enough mobs to Zombify.
For the future, Krivis2 or Priest2 / Bokor2 is most likely better. Plague Doctor looks like it has AoE so Bwa Kayiman is most likely going to become a mob gathering tool.

And you haven't even said how. When you link 10 monsters and they all get joined to one location like what normally happens, your attacks hit every single monster 10 times. I'm not saying you need a linker (you don't), but it's factually incorrect to say runs will not be faster and damage is not substantially increased when you use a linker.
But yes, as you've pointed out, they don't offer as much on a boss. Really though, you can play whatever you want with whoever you want, but I don't understand why you're trying to convince yourself that Linker doesn't contribute an ungodly amount of damage to any party it joins.

AoE attack ratio is the amount of enemies you can hit with your attacks. Enemies have AoE defense ratio, that lowers the amount of enemies you can hit with attacks. Hangman's Knot attribute lowers the AoE defense ratio enemies having, meaning you can get the full benefit of your AoE attack ratio.

Most skills that are AoE have a limit to how many things they can hit at once. Let's say an arbitrary attack has 10 AoE Ratio and each of the 10 mobs infront of you has an AoE Defense Ratio of 2, you'd be able to hit 5 mobs with said attack. Now if Hangman's reduces everyone's AoE Defense Ratio by 1 you'd be able to hit all 10.

AoE attack ratio is the radius. That's why Snow Rolling increases in size by level. If it was the amount of enemies that wouldn't make sense because of how Ice Pillar works (it does have a limit to how many enemies it can pull it, it'll eventually let others run around while constantly sucking in the same 12 or so mobs)

I went Cryo, Psycho, Linker, and I'm gonna go Sorceress after.
Cryo C3 is actually so cool in action but I didnt want to struggle through C2 so I went Kino since I saw that Ice Pressure attack webm. I went for Linker after because it would be the only class to synergize with Sorceress (Thaumaturge would've been a nice choice but only 1 level was meh). I suppose I could've went Kino c2 but Hangman's Knot has a 15 second CD (counting Joint Penalty) while Magnetic Force has a 40 second CD.
I think in Open Beta I'll try Cryo C3 into Sorceress into Alchemist

Not sure if I want to roll pyro/thaum or pyro/linker for the final release. I chose pyro/thaum for this beta and the damage it does is awesome, especially with the dagger. I'm worried about the buffs becoming insignificant in the higher levels, though.

Cryo C3 gets you the only 2 skills that are actually worth a damn in the Cryo kit. It's definitely worth going for if you have any Cryo in your build at all.

at that point, probably Linker is better for solo grinding, Psychokino falls off at that point at C1. You can still link your icewalls to do the staff attack. I'd still recommend you go to Cryo C3 if you're already Cryo C2, your C3 skills are so fucking amazing.

I think Linker would probably be the most efficient, but Cryo C3 is so fucking fun and since this is a beta that's going to get wiped I'd recommend you fuck around with that a bit. Both the snowball skill and the Ice Tree are fucking amazing and some of the most fun to use in the game.

linked enemies all take an attack, including all of its effects
so if you linked an enemy and then used snow rolling, all linked guys would get stunlocked as well

Sala is pretty great, mostly just because he doesn't require any SP to upkeep. You summon him once and he's there killing shit for you until he gets stuck on some random stairs or a zone line. The cat familiar's buffs are fucking amazing, it's a shame the buff limit is so low if you don't have a high level Daimo though, using it is basically purposefully knocking everyone elses essential buffs off.

Not that venting anon, but for the lvl 50 dungeon, I was prob in my mid 70s while the rest of the party members are lvl 50-60s. Most people would invite me, but some prefer a linker. During several parties, some would complain saying it'd be better if the party had a linker. Personally, it does get saddening when they say that, even more so when I get rejected, but meh what can I do.
And no, I couldn't make a party, and never could because the bug was never fixed for me.

Attack Ground is worthless in its current form, but Hold can definitely be nice since it lets your summon kinda do their own thing instead of just trying to follow a pixel behind you all the time.
