Would you play a mod that makes Survival damage like STALKER on Master? Essentially it's equal damage, heavy enemies are still tough but softer targets like dogs, raiders, etc. will only ever take a few hits. A bolt action in STALKER, for example, can one shot many bandits in the chest.

I played a Skyrim mod that was similar in concept to that (enhanced combat or something?). Essentially all damage values were doubled so you were doing and taking twice the damage.
I found it to be easier than vanilla. It didn't really matter that I was squishier since I could kill enemies fast enough that they couldn't overwhelm me, which is something that's killed me a number of times in the vanilla game.

I had my raider powerarmor have the ability to light up nearby targets because I figured it'd be interesting and I also put a menacing red headlight on it, but apparently you don't need to be in the powerarmor for it to make people glow red. Just nearby it.

Isn't that basically what it's like now? Raiders take a couple shots at most, most humans in general die in a few shots but big stuff like Swan need explosvies and a bunch of ammo. And I'm really squishy, dying from one well-placed explosive or like 6 shots if i'm not in power armor.

I've decided to stick with the Minutemen and so I'm investing in settlements. At the moment Sanctuary is basic as fuck and I don't know how to get more Settlers.
My current production rates.

I've tried to raise morale further than 40% by putting down Minutemen flags, cat posters and Jukeboxes, but it's not going past 40. I have raised it though, as it was starting on 23%
I've built a basic one floor house with like six beds, some tables, paintings a radio and a flag.
At the moment I'm not concerned about aesthetics, I just want to get Sanctuary stronger.
So I keep crashing to desktop after about ten or so minutes of play each time. I've looked up this issue and it says the best solution is to make sure all of your graphics drivers are up to date, did so and no change. Any advice from people who have had this problem too?

Diamond City was hyped up as the "Great Green Jewel" of the Commonwealth, then after 10 hours I get there and it's smaller than The Strip in NV, which was already disappointingly small for how much Vegas was hyped up.
Goodneighbor is smaller than most villages in Skyrim. There town meeting when you get there has 8 people.
"Make your own cities!" is a pretty flimsy excuse, especially since every Settler you get is just a generic nameless NPC.

I wouldn't say NV is overrated, it's just targeting a different market. NV is about roleplaying, Fallout 4 is about shooting. There's stark differences in how the quests are designed in each game. In NV you might get told where someone is being held prisoner, then have the choice to break them out by sneaking, bribe a guard with speech/barter, kill them and then lie to the quest giver with a speech check for the reward, etc. etc.
Fallout 4 is more action oriented. You're told someone is kidnapped, you go in and the faction is immediately hostile on sight and you are supposed to fight them. There's no other way to play the game.
NV seems boring because you are expected to find content through talking. It actually had far more in it than 3.

The wiki is already mostly populated with all of the data parsed from the game files. It's definitely an improvement on 3. The quest number is still fewer than NV, and again, most quests are just straightforward 'kill mob' hunting quests or 'find item' fetch quests.
Even after 7 years in development Todd couldn't match neither the number of quests nor the quality of quests that Obsidian shit out after 18 months.
