You know, I feel like showing K/D/A in an objective based game is kinda ruining the whole thing because people have started to make it their sole objective.
I remember back in the day in BF2, (and even more so in the oldschool shooters) people largely tried to do the objectives, capture the points and what now. These days people just care for their K/D and try to get as many kills as possible instead of trying to take or defend a point.
So yeah.. if you're in an objective based game, fuck K/D, it's not needed.

Lightning Shield should actually give them a shield. No talent needed.
Totem should be removed or massively reworked and Chain heal should heal for more out of the gate.
For a character who's a melee healer he lacks a lot when compared to Uther and Monk. Uther has a straight up stun and two heals. While Monk has insane mobility, heals by punching with no mana and a great aoe heal.
As it stands the only thing he has going for him is Wolf Mode and that's really only useful during fights when you are running or chasing.

If you take Feral Lunge you pass on a healing surge and that hurts him a lot if you are the only support. With a Tass or Tyrande on the team you might be able to take it without it hurting, but I don't know.

Not sure about it being lobby based. Seems like they wanna do rounds, CS style and I don't mind that because I'd look forward to something objective based. Most other shooters are little more than glorified DM these days.
And while I really like CTF I'm afraid I get their logic for not putting it in. How would you balance it? With Heroes like Tracer? I don't think it'll be a particular good mode for overwatch. Which is sad because I like CTF. But I guess we get some other modes.

Khaz if you don't go damage can put up insane heal numbers. Double Breath of Heaven is so fucking good to keep everyone alive and if you are at an objective after a fight you can heal everyone by just punching without using any mana.
If Ancestral Healing was instant or you couldn't get stunned out of it would be better, but most times it's used it's either just to late or way to early because you are worried about not getting it off.
Meanwhile Divine Shield is instant with insane range and Palm you can throw on someone when you think they are about to die and it lasts for a little while or even right when they are about to die because it's instant. Hell you can palm someone through a wall. Found that out on BoE the other die when I was getting camps and a Zeratul on teh other side almost died.

Drop on using certain abilities is definitely not a stretch. TF2 solved invisibility, invulnerability, and extreme mobility weapons like that. Otherwise it's really just how the maps are laid out. Don't have easy escape routes that cannot be intercepted. Tracer is squishy enough for that to work. So to me that definitely says "no neutral flags" or anything along these lines.
Capping solo should of course always possible, but it should be a group effort in general. Having a team balance between grouping up, flanking, defending, attacking, and escorting will always be more important than one really fast character.

It is for first-person shooters, especially if they're castrated related to things DM like OW is. This means more tuning of numbers than actually improving the games as a whole. I don't give a fuck about a cooldown reduction of 0.5 seconds as much as a new high risk/high reward route to the objective that's too campy, or just having a better flow of players to different vantage points or around uphill-sections.

Make his trait the ability to chose a totem that has one of the three effects. Either a massive slow, a shield giving totem or an aoe attack totem.
Q is Wolf Form with Feral Lunge. Give it a short cooldown like it has now.
W is a wind attack that pushes everyone in it's path out of position or a certain way.
E is an Totem that gathers energy and then explodes in an AOE.
Ults being Blood Lust and Fire Elemental.
Don't know if it would be better but would be more interesting.

First off, I don't give a toss about MMR. I have no reason to at my level. Maybe if I was one of those players going for the top 100, yes but me, no.
Each time you lose in HL, you drop a number of ranked points. Each time this happens you're further away from rank 1. Now rank 1 is hardly an elite club for very good players, but the amount of times you get someone absolutely awful who completely ruins the experience is less common.
It's seriously no fun when you're three levels behind and have no chance to do anything because someone stubbornly lastpicked Illidan when it makes no sense, then he takes Hunt and proceeds to die 12 times in 17 minutes. You can't fight or do anything, really.
Or when their Murky is octograbbing you and your Uther decided to take Wave of Light, along with Boundless Conviction, Divine Storm and Gathering Radiance. Each time this happens, you have to endure more of the same nonsense before you get to the point where the dead weight isn't quite as benign.

Ranking supports is a little silly because there's a huge difference between comp and casual/normal HL play.
For example Rehgar is an overall weak support but since he's one of the three support that can somewhat counter burst (the others being Uther and Kharazim), he sees more play in the competitive scene than he should.
And then there's also someone like Li Li who's extremely strong in HL but her big weakness is extremely precise focus which is why she's never picked in comp play.
If you want to rank support based on their effectiveness in HL (since this is what applies to pretty much everyone itt), it would look somewhat like this:

She is rare in that she has many different builds and a lot of great talent choices. That's what started my downward spiral. I mostly play alone now (except on the weekends for a few rounds), but I played this game just fine for about 100 hours before, going up in HL and QM all the time. Maybe some tryhard strangers would be a good choice over friends.

I'm worried about the new scaling for characters like Diablo and Stitches.
Diablo dies a lot, even if you are doing well and with deaths being more meaningful, it might really fuck him. You also have fuck all health before you can collect souls and talents, which means you might get hosed.
With Stiches, a character who already has problems, you no longer can kill people by hooking them to your towers (because towers are now weak as shit). At least he has more survivability.
Tell me I am wrong and a shitter and am going to have to learn to play these characters better.

I can't really speak from experience on diablo, I'm more comfortable with stitches however and I think it will really hamper his early game when it comes to his kill pressure. That being said most higher level people build stitches around his slam and he's still going to have as much impact mid/late.

I know when Lt. Morales first came out she had a shit winrate and wasn't viewed favorably.
But after this week, I've found myself having a lot of fun. It reminds me of the Medic from TF2's playstyle of using your allies to bodyblock and always keeping good position.

As much as I enjoy playing Medic from TF2 the heroes Medic just doesn't give the same feeling, dancing around bullets and riding the explosions feels fun. I guess it's the idea of left clicking and letting go feels good where as clicking and presssing q/d just feels awkward at best for me. Could be laziness or I'm doing something wrong, no clue where I'm going with this but I'm open to hear other people's points of view on this.

hots is easily my favorite. dota is by far a deeper and more complex game and feels more satisfying to play overall, but not having to dedicate an hour to play maybe one whole game that can be lost because of one inept teammate is a huge disadvantage

Artanis is kinda meh and easy to play horribly.
Tassadar is some of the most fun you can possibly have in this game if you're doing it right.
Zeratul creates endless amounts of butthurt from bad players because of stealth, but he's nowhere near as bad as people make him seem.

it's not coming for months
For a year I've fought to get out of shitter MMR. Now I'm finally doing it and man, the match quality seems to have gotten much better. It actually seems to reward individual skill more, now that most people are on even grounds on experience. It's really fun.
That said, I recommend everyone who is stuck in shitter platinum or under, to create a smurf account after you're confident in your skill. I would've saved months of time and frustration had I done this. It's really a huge difference.
