Endgame in Tera is fucking boring. I've reached 65 lvl with my lancer about 5 months ago. Then i've got schisma set, then I've got lucid set. And what? All what I was doing was grinding the same shit. Doing few the same dungeons per day, some nexus, sometimes when I was boring I was doing pvp. And the only thing what I was do is grinding. For example doing TSHM or SCHM is routine for me. I have 114 tshm runs, 123 schm runs, and there is nothing enjoyable. Just boring grinding.
And that's all. This game is so boring. Endgame is just boring. After few months of playing there is nothing to do.
Of course I could make new character, but then what? Do all this shit again with only one difference: another class?

I don't think there are any games, free or otherwise, which offer interesting play after the first few hundred hours.
It isn't a fault of Tera, it's a fault of your consumer habits.
You're expecting a singular game to grant you the comforts of a lifestyle with every amenity you desire. Maybe that's what you want, maybe you're somehow accustomed to it because in your youthful days one thing managed to capture your imagination endlessly, but you've experienced more now and you need to feed yourself different flavors of fun.
If you really want to enjoy your time, try lots of new things, and never compare one thing to another. Think about the positive aspects an experience gives you, not what it lacks. You can enjoy a thousand different activities if you don't allow yourself to get stuck in the childish mindset of a one-size-fits-all solution to your needs.

Its more the fact of the matter. Its a different feeling getting paid 70k to genocide huehues. Then smashing the BR faction as exarch with a pre-emptive strike using some fancy footwork they're too stupid to expect or defend against and winning conflict in 10 minutes. With the added humiliation against them trying so hard with gvg deccing our only organized pvp guild when the BR faction has 5x loser buffs in conflict that increase their power by 220 and endurance by 120; in a gambit to make our strongest force not enter alliance conflict.
Comparing that to grinding dailies, its too bad alliance is dead content except for a few die hards. Really wish they'd add vm mats to the noct society vendor and some good drops to invisibams to bring it back to life.

Amazingly enough, there was a time, back in CBT when the optimization wasn't absolute jack shit. Back then I only had a damn integrated Intel HD and I was able to play it at 1600x900 with everything maxed out and even record with fraps, if I remember right I was sitting at maybe 27-35~ fps, not the best, but more than playable. FF14 has one of the shittiest combat systems I have ever seen. Half the skills do the same thing. Decade long global CD. Almost no movement skills at all. Ridiculously slow paced and virtually no skill involved.

None of the bosses are true RNG, they've got patterns you can see after a while. Like darkan, you can tell what hes going to do 15-30 seconds in advance once he initiates an attack, except for a couple of patterns where its 50/50 between a donut or a bomb. Takes a lot of practice to notice though. Although sometimes he does a truly random backswing that'll catch three people in fire at once and hit them with fire debuff.
