Impact books drop like rain, and his cooldown starts lower than most of his complementary team members anyway. 100% not worth the book space to hoard them unless you're just not running Brook's fortnight more than a few times (but most people are doing a lot of runs trying to get Ryuma).

I used to be obsessed about Sugofests, then I discovered how thoroughly enjoyable it was for me to max the specials of characters I like/care about. Some people are obsessed with completing the character log, I guess this is my fixation.
I went with being paranoid about saving gems to get good pulls to being psychotic about squeezing in as many fortnight runs as possible to get dupes and manuals. This kills the box space, but beggars can't be choosers I guess. At least I don't particularly care if I get bad pulls during Sugofests now.

When I was sub 100 it was all about getting characters, now I'm transitioning to maxing specials. Hell I got fine tempo nami from my two yolo pulls from blossom and went meh. That said there are still a number of units I want, just not as much as before like g3, kidd, jozu and marco. It's not about making teams now, but perfecting teams to prep for raid bosses. My qck, int and psy teams are still on the weaker side, but at least 30 stam viable.

About leveling skills, recently I found out that the char drops are always the lowest form. Reading through the last couple threads i learned that there's no point in using Ace's 4 manual since when he levels up the skills go back to 0

You should just read the manga. There's not as much filler in OP as other shonen and one filler arc is so good it may as well be canon (G8), but it stuffs the timeslot and the quality just drops after a point. There's one episode that literally starts with almost 3 minutes of a character walking up a chain followed by "SHALL WE BEGIN!?" and there are at least 2 fights that end in one blow that the anime draws out to 1-3 episodes

Halloween Zoro will get you the one extra turn of stall before BB, but by level 55 Ivankov outclasses him in every stat, most importantly attack, given Zoro's current level. Ivankov is also a guaranteed orb on their self, but potentially red orbs on hitters you need. Personally I'd run Ivankov instead of Zoro, slowly take BB down to just over 50%, and then pop Ivankov, and potentially Kaku if you get the orbs you need.
Alternatively, Hina can guarantee two turns of good orbs if you time it right, perhaps hitting BB down to 51% and withholding your blue orbs until you've got what you need and he is at the Bursting Point.

I should've put the two INT shooters on the left side in case you fail the burst, but it doesn't change much
The only real problem is the Basilisk, it may do some real damage before you can bring him down

Basically a passive effect/ability.
Units will have a certain amount of slots and if you feed them any version of themself they get an rng roll for an ability or something. Each character can get a single ability to 5 from rnging the same ability to increase its level.
The overall team can cap certain abilities to their max at 25 if I remember correctly.
The abilities have different levels of effect that increase.
Something like that anyway.

It's really hard to form an all-purpose team (SW Ace-style) with him right now, and it's a damn shame
The ideal Crocodile team needs 5 types of subs to be effective (CP9 Kalifa + orb locker + orb booster + orb controller + either HP reducer or someone with a zombie special), and there are only 4 spots in a team excluding the captain
Not to mention that all reliable HP reducers either have ridiculous CD (Killer) , have terrible stats (General Zombie) or are not easy to use (zombie specials)

He already has all the support units he needs, the problem is that they're hard to fit into a team. SW Ace teams only need 4 specific subs to work, but Crocodile teams have the additional low health requirement which messes things up.
Recently they've started adding units that can do more than one thing with the same special (CP9 Kumadori switches and locks, Iceburg randomizes, switches and locks, etc.), hopefully we'll have a decent Crocodile setup soon

Playing around with the damage calc for what ifs, if they made an INT or STR Knowledge unit that reduced health really low (or to 1) it would be really good. Alternatively, a STR one that locked orbs and reduced health to 1, so you could use Noland instead of Doffy and make use of all of Heracles' orbs. You can sort of get close by using the WB ship with this though, and will probably be way more doable when Kalifa and Croc get books.

okay so you have a potentially good INT team that will be able to carry you far into the story mode, but you really should do some other stuff first: evolve Usopp into GPU and go farm lucci's island at the best difficulty you can do until you get lucci and kaku (2 days left). Use Lucci as your captain (2x QCK). also level and evolve your other strawhats, Nami into Mirage tempo and keep her that way. Also grab brook and try to grab ryuuma of extra island as well.
As for loguetown, with your evolved Golden pound and the QCK units that I mentioned, take that sanji and if you're struggling with Alvida, use his special to reduce her defense. Finish her off with your QCK units.

Using Garp then Bon-Chan specials will give you a full psy board. Usopp boosts psy units and Cody boosts slots so it's a tanky team that hits hard

That depends on what units are getting boosted along with PSY, but out of those units, you can only get Marco, Impact Usopp and Mr.2 from RR. Garp is from raid only and Coby is from his island that we had last week. Mr.2 can drop from story as well, but it's the usual shitty rate.

The whole scenario reeks of forced drama and only exists to keep Luffy out of Law and Doffy's fight until the plot needs him to be there.
And this is a personal fripe, but I don't buy the whole 'Luffy suddenly considers Bellamy a friend' just cuz he's less of an asshole.
I liked the Dressrosa arc overall, but Oda really fumbled the writing at times.

Garp is a raid, Cody is a fortnight, and Bon-Chan is farmable in Alabasta. Everyone else (Rakuyo is another great sub) is RR only. You can absolutely pull any form of story SH. It sounds awful, but if you accidentally get rid of one or evolve them wrong it can be helpful.

Do you kill Luffy before Sanji in the SH stage? Sanji attacks sooner but his hit can be tankeable and I'm running a slasher team, so he's easy to being down. On the other hand Luffy attacks later but I'm not using any QCK unit só he takes longer to kill. Also it's a OHKO.
