Well, there's not much to look at besides the visuals right now, which are sub-par, unless you want to discuss the four (4) revealed characters, three of which (Kyo, Iori, and Leona) were pretty expected.

Tips for adjusting to a fightstick after like four years of playing on pad? Also should I keep playing USF4 or just practice against the CPU in the SFV Beta? I'm out of practice and would practically have to relearn whoever I main in USF4. I lean towards Poison and Sakura, neither of which are in SFV, so anything I learn on them really doesn't transition over that well.

Skullgirls was made to play similarly to MvC and is definitely combo heavy. All though it has 3 characters you do have the choice of only playing as one or two (though, it's usually a good idea to have at least two characters because of assist attacks.)

I actually do own Skullgrills, but isn't it pretty much ded game? I liked playing USF4 and Mahvel because whenever I went to a convention there was always a group ofmostly blackpeople crowded around an Xbox or PS3 playing one of them.
On the subject of Melty I've played it before, should probably give it another go for fun, I knew a couple of guys who played it back when I played vidya on my shitty laptop. It kind of suffers from the same issue as Skullgrills.
Someone suggested KoF13 which I do think I saw someone playing at one of the cons I went to. Maybe I should play it.

SG has a pretty small but dedicated fanbase. There's generally people online because if you like SG, SG is your crack because there's pretty much nothing else like it for better or worse.

My biggest issue with Skullgrills was the lack of a dedicated shoto to learn the game with. I'm most comfortable learning new fighters with shotos for whatever reason. I jumped in, had no idea what was going on, and bailed pretty quick. Does it have lobbies yet? Anyone else excited for Pokkén Tournament? Since it's Pokemon, it could probably be a big enough hit to make it to EVO mainstage. They even have competitive traditional Pokemon tournaments on 3DS, so there's no reason why Pokkén Tournament can't be ultra-competitive like Smash Bros. or fighting games like Street Fighter or Skullgirls or Tekken.
