I hate the new masteries shit. They are so fucking meh, but none seem general enough to just set and forget that will work on the majority of champs. So we have to go in a set this bullshit for every fucking game to get any sort of decent benefit.
Anyone have any ideas on how to set the minimal amount of these fucking things that I can use with a majority of champs?

None of them are great. Thunderlord and Stormraider are probably best on him. If you go for some Essence Reaver, IE build Warlord is good. OItherwise Deathfire is the only Ferocity keystone you can really use.

yes, they were trying to get rid of that, you should be able to make decisions that matter, not just do some maths to maximise numbers and leave it there for the rest of the season.

They are really quick to set up if you use the scroll wheel. just reset the masterypage every game, it's very rare that any page will be perfectly suited to the game and match up if you build it before hand.

I think it's actually better to go 12/18 on Irelia now as opposed to 18/12. I preferred going 21/9 last season but i'm not seeing a whole lot in the Offensive tree that she really needs.
The Attack speed is great, double edged sword is fine, the lifesteal is kinda meh but synergises with her W and both Opressor and Bounty could kind of work i suppose but i don't really see what else in that tree she needs. The Armour pen is okish but she deals a shit ton of true damage with her W anyway, and i don't feel the keystones do much for her
She dosen't really itemize for crit outside of tri force so that would be super unreliable, Fervor seems really fucking weak on a melee (8 damage per auto...) and Deathfire touch seems quite nice but Irelia rarely has super high AD numbers, considering a lot of her damage comes from sheen procs and her W so i don't see that working either

I like Opressor more for just dominating a lane opponent, but i guess if i can still make TP plays all over the map bounty hunter might pull ahead.
I went with Fervor because now that i'm reading it properly and not like a retard i realise that's very strong on her since she can stack it pretty high of Q last hitting before going for an engage.
As for the Resolve tree, i went for the bonus defensives because i don't think Irelia really relies on HP5 to sustain but her W passive (buffed up by the Lifesteal mastery and the Runic Armor, meaning i get 10% more lifesteal)
Plus considering her late game build generally consists of 4 defensive items i think that will carry some value. I see absolutely no reason whatsoever to not take 15% CDR on summoner spells, that seems like an absurdly powerful mastery.

The Crit mastery seems pants on head retarded, and whilst going into Cunning seems nice for Merciless, Runic for Red Buffs and DG, i cant see how an ADC could ever turn down 15% CD on Flash, especially immobile ones like MF. Also the 8% bonus to lifesteal is pretty fucking neat.
