SNK has a lot more integrity when it comes to portraying its characters and leaves the fan service to promotional art, if it feels like the character warrants it anyway. And a lot of its older promo art was all casual-like where you could believe the characters were hanging out with each other, which was really cool.
That's also in effect now because you have old guard SNK employees rather than pure newbies like the ones who work at Capcom, the latter of which are like UDON in that they don't really care about portraying the characters with integrity but rather what they think MUGEN fans will enjoy.

From all the Kof I have played, I main Ralph, K', Battler, Tizoc, Vanessa, Ramon, Maxima, Hinako, Mature, Whip, Duke, Jivatma and Makoto.
Ralph, K', Maxima and Mature are mostly currents on any Kof game and it'salmost impossible to see any MI again so I would be happy if Vanessa, Whip, Ramon, Brian or Duke return. Specially Duke since I was a beast with him.

The game has looked fine since the terry/KING OF DINOSAURS teaser. My only gripe at this point is some characters really could use some more muscle tone, ralf, Geese, and KoD look fine in that aspect. Also its weird how highly detailed characters clothes are, to the point where watching via stream or YT is a very large drop in quality due to details lost, and character skin being rather plain in contrast.
Also maybe the game could do with some more contrast like in the earliest trailers, but thats another subject entirely

I feel like they should've switched 4th and 5th teaser. The 5th doesn't bring anything really hype, it's actually underwhelming compared to the 4th one.
Also, Team South America is the only team trailer that still has under 200k views (both SNK + Sony) while Team Mexico already surpassed the three previous ones (SA, Villains, Official). Nothing really surprising though.

It does account for most of the transitions. Again, just watch them in slow motion. For some of them it's really obvious when you do.
As for the one at the end, she conveniently bows so her headpiece arcs down and raises her cape, obscuring her face for the moment the mask appears. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happens in that moment. Just pay close attention to the movement of that headpiece at the critical moment.
There's definitely a lot of skill involved in doing it all so quickly and without error, while also dancing, but it's just sleight of hand.
