Original 3ds was shit. New3ds improved everything 3DS did wrong, it's a pretty good handheld.

i bought one last year thinking it would be able to catch the DS magic
all i found were soulless sequels to game i already played on DS, some of the most boring nintendo game ever made (link between world was allright) and monster hunter, monster hunter is literaly the only good game on this piece of shit
and the thing is pretty much dead in the water, literaly the only 2 notable games releasing for the thing this year are pokemon and dragon quest 7 which was supposed to come years and years ago

Get OoT if you really need to play it again or haven't already, ALBW is legit for children. Fire Emblem is fun enough but the story/writing is terrible and it isn't very long. You'll have MHG but 3U and 4U are solid gold as well.

Some of my favourite games on 3DS.
Picross games are also nice if you like the type of puzzle.
Pokémon Picross is F2P if you want to see if it's something you enjoy.
If you want different kinds of puzzles, then get the first Layton game.
The Gunman Clive games and Mighty Switch Force games are cheap and good. Try them.
Triple Deluxe is good if you like Kirby games.
I've heard Planet Robobot is even better.
It has mixed opinions, but I enjoyed Luigi's Mansion 2. Haven't played the first one though.

It won't broke.
I know it sounds silly but I have replaced many parts over my old DS; sometimes it broke the second screen, sometime the first screen and then there was the time that during warrancy a speaker died.
Fortunately they replaced my DS.
Then I don't know why but the first touchscreen was gone to shit and the calibration was all wrong. Replaced and all was good. Pic is my 'ol buddy still kicking to this day
