Okay, just finished the game. Thought it was really good, surprisingly tied VLR and 999 together well.
999 still has an infinitely better ending.
The main problem I have with this game, is that the true end isn't that satisfying, and everyone forgets that Mira and Eric are both murdering psychopath retards.
If the final ending was really the good end, Carlos would just shoot Eric in the fucking head.

So what's the deal with Akane? I understand that her persona in 999 was mostly because of acting and i vlr it turns out that Akane is some godlike being who has seen millions and millions years of different histories. She acts calm and rational here, she also has no problem that Junpei dies in many of histories, because it was needed for the plan.
So what happened in ztd? She acts like a typical teenager and occassionally snaps out clover style when Junpei is killed. She seems to forget that she organised the first nonary game herself, where Junpei died a few times too. And she even calls out the mind hack on doing the same thing?
Am I misunderstanding something? I don't understand her character.
