And Corruption wasn't even really good. But at least it was a Metroid game and was infinitely more respectful to the franchise than whatever the hell Other M was. Retro just kind of tried to do something different and failed but they still have made nothing otherwise but gold.
But anyway, yeah. By August of next year, it will have been 10 years since the last proper 3D Metroid. And that's not even going into how it's already been over 10 years since the last 2D Metroid.
