the second one is not as good desu, not much carries over from the 1st besides story choices so you don't really need to bother with the save. The combat is tuned a little better and there's some interesting new units but it's a lot shorter and leaves another cliff hanger. I'd wait for it to be cheaper.

it's not. I honestly think it is a pretty shitty game. It marketed itself as something it isn't (a roguelike or roguelite, it is neither) and feels pretty clunky. The art is ugly. Darkest Dungeon is a really tricky recommendation, the game is really hard and relies too much on RNG, if you have time to invest on it, then yes it's a great game, if you hope to play it casually then don't bother, you're probably not going to finish it anyway.

Namco patched a few things and more or less hung it out to dry, but there is several fan patches that fixes a LOT of the issues and makes it a far better experience.
It sadly is still running at 30 FPS out of the box VS the GCN's 60 and some of the textures are low res due to it being a port of the Japanese PS2 version, but the fan patches have made it a better choice to the PS3 version.

I really enjoy Subnautica because of how vast the ocean is and the sense of progress. The single player is fantastic in Warband. You make a character and you can pretty much find a way to insert yourself into the games ecosystem by exploring a map and handling events and battles. It's a lot of fun and provides excellent roleplay.

Avoid FF6 on steam, it's a port of the mobile version and has god awful redrawn graphics. FFVII is worth it if you didn't complete it before. There's a reason it's the most popular FF game in that it's a great intro to the series.
FF IX for me is the best one, but it has a lot of nonsense in there, especially with the battle system. But the world is incredible and the characters are all really likeable and unique.

I'd avoid stuff like The Last Remnant etc. It's a game from a new breed of JRPG that rewards those with stats on their mind. It's also got painful voice acting.

I bought it when it came out and it's a fine port. Doesn't change anything besides graphix but that's what it was advertised as. Fable as a game is flawed but it has a spark and a charm to it that not a lot of other RPGs have. Combat's clunky as shit and the controls aren't great but the RPG mechanics are very fun and there's a decent amount of content, especially for sale price.
Still sad that we never really got a proper sequel to Fable 1.

For single player I'd recommend any of Zachtronics games if you like puzzles. Spacechem, Infinifactory, or TIS-100. Cities: Skylines is a decent city sim.
If you're looking for a multiplayer game, then rocket league is pretty good for some quick matches or even longer play times. It's super easy to pick up but takes some time to get good, especially with aerial maneuvering. Insurgency is a decent FPS. If you want to be a hipster and you're autistic then Dominions 4 is for you.

There's some funny writing in bits, but otherwise fairly lack luster. The game play is fun, but if you try and focus on any one weapon the game likes to punish you.

It was okay, not too different than other themepark mmos when playing solo. There's a ton of skills if I remember correctly. So you have a lot of different combos you can work with.

Darkest Dungeon gets rather grindy, and can easily fuck you with RNG.
Additionally some people were displeased with changes that made the game more difficult, ie. heart attacks

I fucking loved Shadow Warrior. Ignore most of the writing as it's pretty fucking lame, but the action and combat are fucking solid. Makes you switch up your weapon choice making the fights feels pretty varied.
My biggest complaint is it just starts to feel like it drags on too much, but then the game ends. So, I guess it's not that bigga deal
