There are far more artists drawing for pay than all of the drawthreads on 4chan and probably the other chan combined. If a handful of assholes go commission their request the threads would continue just fine and they would undoubtedly be back with some other request before long anyway. However, I do feel that, if I am to make a request, and a drawfag were to consider the thought of taking my request, that the drawfag in question will either just do it, or not do it.
But when you get drawfags who do requests in a way that is only to shitpost people out of spit or for (You)s, that would make requesters upset, in a drawthread that is made for both requesters and drawfags.
In the long run, my opinion on it is that I'd honestly rather not get delivered in a given thread, than to be, for lack of a better phrase, 'used as shitposting fuel,' for either drawfags or other requesters.' And to say that I'm an asshole because of that just doesn't quite feel fair.
