I can't.
I just played through the entire thing in one sitting, the overall experience was remarkably mediocre, and frustrating due to level design that is more focused on your weaponry being shit and the hazard of dashing into enemies to neutralise them efficiently.
The weapon switching is fucked, instead of being able to pause the game and select something, or cycle through then with shoulder buttons, you have to select with the left bumper or trigger, then press a button to transform between that form and your default form. I couldn't adapt to situations on the fly.
The weapons are horribly imbalanced, things like the Fire or Ice attacks are hardly useful, whilst the heavy artillery from No. 7 think lets you steamroll stages because of low consumption, remote detonation, high damage and huge blast area. There is literally no reason to use anything other than this weapon once you have it, as absorbing enemy Xel replenishes weapon energy (although it does recharge very slowly.)
I can't remember a single tune from the game, other than the admittedly catchy main theme which we all heard ages ago.
What you will remember is the incessant banter with grating voice acting, along with the narration for scor ebonuses and shit.
The story, is who gives a damn really.
It's just a bunch of scientists and executives who fucked up and activated a prototype of Beck, "Trinity", who has no control over their absorption ability. I have no fucking idea how this translates to robots going on a rampage.
There's some shit about a Dr Blackwell who is not the bad guy, Dr Will White actually being Dr Bill Blackwell and wanting nothing to do with the actually innocent guy in jail.
Oh, remember that backer goal to get a playable Call stage? It's shit, it takes away the dashing absorption mechanic and is sort of a stealth stage but it's not, when it decides you actually do need to defeat enemies with your pitifully weak buster that only lets one bullet stay on screen at once

I type this whilst I wait for the backer credits to finish rolling, because there are over 71000 backers and I'm No. 30616.
I'm only 22800 backers down the list, the credits have been scrolling for over an HOUR.
The backer credits are over three fucking hours long.
It took me maybe 2, 2 and a half hours to beat the game. The credits are longer than the actual fucking game.
I did spot two backers in there. Gaijin Goomba is in there early on, Arin Hansen is 12226.
You can't speed up or scroll these fucking credits, but hey you can at least search for a specific number, for the glorious function of highlighting it in red when it finally scrolls by.

The kickstarter generated a lot of funding.

Today Mighty No. 9 has given me more entertainment than any of them, and I didn't even have to spend a cent.

In addition, the sound started going super stutterery and then eventually stopped altogether. Music, sfx, voices, everything Had to close and reopen the game to get sound back

It's actually pretty fun and only gets shit because of the graphics, despite /v/ always crying that gameplay is more important.
On a board where games like Nier and Neptunia which suffer far worse lag are beloved, I think it's stupid how much shit a $20 discount game gets.
The optimization for different platforms is shit though. PS4 and Steam plays fine, but it seems like Wii U got royally fucked on this one and I'm sure any "previous gen" consoles and the handhelds are going to suffer worse fates.

During my playthrough of the game, I couldn't actually figure out if bosses have weaknesses or resistances.
It just seemed like every weapon could be used on every boss, and some might be better suited to their attack patterns than others.
The most notable example was using No. 8 Countershade's sniper weapon against No. 6 Aviator.
The best I could tell is that if a rescued mighty number appears in a stage, you should use their weapon against the boss.
However due to the fact there isn't a boss refight during the game, I never got to see.
