Believe me, as somebody that invested a good deal in this, I'm as frustrated and angry as the other backers and I still find it ridiculous. Ben did say that it was his opinion, but he failed to consider the possibility that others would think it was something he translated for Inafune. Gotta be honest, I pirated it but got the same problem as you, then I tried emulating it on a mac and while it ran it did without sound and without being able to change controls, and my computer has even more requirements than what the game asks.
