Yes. Some decisions that involve "do something or don't do something" have a timer and you "don't do something" by just not touching the screen for ~10 seconds.
There are a few things that appear random but I'm not convinced the game is actually randomizing them. Though at least one puzzle had a random solution so you couldn't FAQ it (it was an easy solution though).
(spoiled image cuz it's a spoiler for VLR, though I doubt there's anyone here who hasn't played it)

There are less puzzle rooms over all. They are longer though and much much better, it's less how everything fits together, but more so this triggers this, I have to do this puzzle (think the VLR puzzle where you have to fit the shapes into a certain shape) and then you'll be able to move on to this part of the escape room puzzle because solving one thing opens something that holds something you need, etc. I can't say anything about the endings. Sorry dude. Puzzles are overall the best they've been, but there aren't as many of them as there have been in previous games. The focus is more on the story and interactions with the different characters. Look at the 9 minute gameplay trailer if you want more information.

I should rephrase the first thing I said, I meant by using things you get from other fragments in some rooms you will be able to unlock new things. A code from one fragment could be the thing you need for a lock or something. There will be some fragments that are the same room, but you have new information (Fragments will unlock after you get the new item/thing that will progress you further), and in the same room everything else will be finished like before, but you will be able to get to things you previously couldn't use.

Are you dense? On Moon, the gravity is different. Simply because your perception of time changes, doesn't mean that they shouldn't have noticed something was up. Have you ever seen how astronauts move on the moon? They take long floaty leaps. The people in VLR kept running back and forth through the facility, they should've noticed and questioned how the hell they were gliding through air. R-6 only accounts for the floatiness. Gravity doesn't just affect jumping ability like it did with Phi, it affects everything with a force vector in vertical direction. It's not a believable twist.

Junpei was an average as fuck MC. He had some good moments (like tricking Ace) but was overall bland and boring.
Santa was Akane's bitch and a complete asshole with a poorly developed backstory.
Snake is a mediocre character that is all about "muh Clover" but people like him because of the scene of him facing Ace (which is incredible bad written, since such a frail man should have died after a single gunshot) and a mix between his calm demeanor and character design. As a characters he is incredible lacking.
Akane was just the boring "cute and innocent" childhood friend that is suddenly the 150 IQ mastermind and we had no interesting conversations with her after discovering that fact, so she remains one-dimensional until VLR expands on her as a character and we see her other side.
Lotus is just a fanservice bitch.
Clover was garbage. People like her because "muh waifu" and the axe ending that added to the atmosphere, but her entire role in the game is being a scared little kid and trying to make you feel sorry for her or care because her brother is gone.

The only people who we see affected by this are Tenmyouji and Quark. 999 has more impact because you get to know the characters that were affected by this dark backstory in a more personal level, plus the situation is a lot more despairing (until the twist), while in VLR the despair only starts when Radical-6 fucks up Alice/Quark.
