I know this is a shitposting general, but I actually agree in a non-meme sense.
That demo at the Microsoft press conference was an absolute clusterfuck. It's like Square decided to make FF an action game despite them having no expertise in action games, and they just went "fuck it" and decided to wing it. So it's this incredibly awkward situation where it's objectively the best looking game ever from a technical standpoint and yet simultaneously on par with a generic late 90's hack and slash in the gameplay department.

Their MicroSo y shows were pathetic, and that half a hour of nothing with Tabata was equally shit. Honestly lost all hype for this game.

I used to be so hyped about this game when they showed the initial trailers as versus 13 and even when it was anounced as final fantasy 15, but ever since nomura left my hype has been going more and more down. It just looks like the new director changed the game too much, making it more like the zero game and then after back lash of how it handled poorly is trying to make it more action based but the base of the game that he scrapped doesnt do action well so it just looks like a very clunky and shitty kingdom hearts.

The guy from the article i read liked it, but it sounds like it had major, major problems. Apparently it's running on high end pcs at the show and still has occasional hiccups. And the demo would not stop crashing, and became unplayable at times.
This is a game that is supposed to hit the less powerful consoles in 3 months.
I can't see it making its release date. It can't be far enough along with what we are hearing and seeing. It sounds like the leaks might actually be true.

The "leak" was already proven fake for multiple reasons. A game being in optimization being buggy is the norm, even Red Dead Redemption was completely buggy and crashing a few months prior to release.

Most trailers or video footage of XV make it look way better than it is. In both Duscae and that other thing the combat is pretty clunky and awful. I know they keep refining it, but in my own experience it really doesn't feel that good. When you play it for a while you can adjust to it, but something is really off. There's no impact to your strikes and the dodge mechanic is awful.

Did you even watch the demo footage? Awful player aside the camera has extreme difficulty keeping up with Noct because of all the clipping and teleportation shenanigans, and even when it does it looks awkward.
This isn't a popular opinion but I think a lot of action games could stand to reintroduce semi-static/scripted cameras because the ones these days, while being "responsive" make the action look totally dull and uninvolved. There's a reason big budget martial arts films use a series of quick, close-up cuts -- obviously this would be impractical for anything but QTE gameplay but I think there's a middle ground.
Camera issues aside, Titan's arm just clips straight through the ground without any kind of particle effects. His attack pattern is extremely slow and repetitive, and I don't know what the fuck they were thinking putting enemies behind you because that just exacerbates the camera issue more and leads to frustration.
All that would be forgivable if the game were still, say, a year away. Hell, it might be okay if they clearly hadn't overloaded their plate with all the splintering of the dev team to do all the side stuff. As it is if a ~3 minute vertical slice demo still looks this bad I doubt they'll be able to work through all the issues in time for release.
It was easily one or the more underwhelming live game presentations that was given during a conference this year, up there with Scalebound and the stuff they showed off during EA and Ubisoft's conference.
I remembered back when Final Fantasy Versus XIII changed to Final Fantasy XV and the trailer they showed during 2013, and how that won the game a ton of "Best of E3" awards that year. How did they go from that to the showing they did this year.

Uncharted 4 mishap was an unplugged controller. This was the demo looking like shit because it was just half-assed dodging for like 5 minutes and then press X to win button.

The enemies are flinching, hitstop and effects are on point, weapons have different ravage attacks, switching between enemies mid-combo is more fluid, sword dismissing animation doesn't break the flow of combat.
